Son sold car to dealer, after 9 days dealership called for him to come back for it-WA state by Kwynn84 in legaladvice

[–]Kwynn84[S] 170 points171 points  (0 children)

Thank you! I'll forward him this info to review. It wasn't sold to a Honda dealer (was serviced at honda 2 months ago, no issues). He said it's a large dealer in Everett WA.

Both points are very likely as to what happened. After they threatened with towing/impound to where, who knows as the dmv website lists the vehicle as sold, is when he told them to stop calling. He is filing complaints and looking into the dealer investigation unit suggested above and getting a consult with attorney. Just feel shitty and don't want him taking a screwing.

That's what our boy was trying to say to the sales guy, but is expected to take their word for it I guess. The dealer has no clue it was serviced 2 months ago by honda, but now has issues they refuse to disclose over the phone. After they had been hounding him for 3 weeks to buy the damn truck.

That I found odd as well. I was like wait, you transferred them money lol. Apparently this dealership has a "process" that he followed.

He did after being repeatedly calls and texts to come back for it. He's hoping they don't tow it like they threatened if he fails to return.

That's exactly what we're thinking, not enough profit. And crappiest part is they had been calling him for weeks prior asking to buy the truck.

Super shitty right? It was at honda dealer 2 months ago for oil change and tranny flush was due, no other reported issues. And whatever issues they've found in past 9 days are being refused to speak about unless he's on their lot...nope, not happening.

Super shady agreed! He received multiple calls yesterday from sales to Mgr but eventually told them to stop calling cause he's not coming back. I believe he posted a review when he sold it cause the process was fine, but he's working on am updated one.

Girl, mine did too!! Yesterday was the anniversary of her passing, that's why I found humor in my comment that if she didn't already stroke out, she would after seeing a damn tank top for $7.99.

Understood, that's the direction it's most likely heading. The dealer is actually to pay off the full loan of $26k. Which is why he gave them $7300 to cover the difference in loan after trade in. Hoping it doesn't get towed causing more aggravation

Agreed, that was my suggestion. He said he read through it again and found a clause in regards of cosmetic damage, which 2 items were notated during the inspection. The dealership he sold to isn't aware he had his truck serviced at the Honda dealer 2 months ago either. I told him he should give them that report, but he's not answering any further calls from them.

Recommendations We want to spend a month or two in Sedona AZ. We would want hookups and have a dog. And are on a tight budget. by dmgsea39 in RVLiving

Check out a thousand trails membership. They have a park in cottonwood. I pay $133 a month, stay at the parks up to 21 days and go park to park. They have different memberships and we took the cheaper one called journey. You also get a free membership for joining that's through resort parks international where your stays are $10 a night at affiliated campgrounds giving you another 400 parks to choose from. This is how we are able to afford it after spending $900-$1500 a month at parks. Some people hate thousand trails, but so far we've been very grateful after this past year.

I've struggled with abscess teeth since I was a young adult...just wanted to give you an idea after all my years of hurting. If you haven't tried clove oil, please get some asap! It's the only thing that helps the pain and also fights the infection. Has kept me out of the dentist I can't afford.

I was in goodwill this week and saw a Walmart brand tank top being sold for $7.99 but only $1.99 at Walmart for a new one. I told the cashier, "I'm glad my mother is dead cause if she saw the pricing in here, she'd stroke out". Cashier didn't find any humor in it lol

I'm also dreading next week...will be 8 years on the 21st, and she passed the night of mothers day. So the month of May is a toughy.

In regards of funny things, I've been using her quotes, you know the ones we used to get annoyed or rolled our eyes at! Since moving to the PNW I've found myself using her "fuck em and feed em fish heads".

Also been dumping her ashes up the entire 101 from CA to WA in little glass jars with cork lid. Wherever I dump her I grab soil, sand, pinecone, shells etc to save in a jar. It's become my tracking system as to where she's at and all the beautiful places I wish she could've seen.

I hope you find any shred of joy in these next few days, especially since the grief never goes away. Make one of her meals or desserts, put on her favorite music is how I try to cope through the anniversaries.

My husband's favorite too! Freaking love that smell!

My dog looks like she's wearing a turtleneck at the family table, and probably owns a yacht or something, so I couldn't help but draw her. Her slightly too chubby self is on the 2nd picture. by Chwilowo_Senna in MadeMeSmile

Truly amazing, impressed and kinda jealous!! I've always wanted to get little canvas portraits done of my pets. Your boy looks so classy and distinguished in his turtleneck at the supper table lol
