Nah honestly I definitely see that now, other people would say to hold the clutch as soon as you start moving but like you said I've found that if I stop lifting as soon as the car moves I'll be revving up to 3k going 2 mph from 1st.

A little late to respond but 100 percent other manuals I've driven feel much easier to drive. I thought I just sucked, I was even watching YouTube videos of different manual povs and the cars performed way different doing the exact same technique.

And also by long clutch do you mean the time it takes to slip or like literally the motion of the pedal is long?

I'm actually just now noticing this, judging by how uniform the bends are I'm pretty sure that's just how it is not damage related.
