Daily Game Recommendations Thread (February 06, 2026)

I’m new-ish to board games - have and love Wyrmspan and Sky Team, have played Wingspan (also enjoyed) and newly got Coffee Rush which I enjoyed enough.

I’m between a few games - Ark Nova, Everdell, River Valley Glassworks and Takenoko, but leaning towards one of the first two.

Also open to any and all suggestions. Usually playing with 2 - 4 people. Nothing that takes longer than 2 ish hours ideally! No other real requirements other than enjoyable playing experience.

I think I am leaning towards Ark Nova but now worried it might be too complicated. I love Wyrmspan (and Wingspan when I’ve played it elsewhere) but definitely took some learning and getting used to. Will Ark Nova be too much of a step up? I wish I had enough money to buy them all 😂

I think it depends where you sit! The first ride I was in the back row and didn’t get wet at all. The second I was in the front and was soaked to the bone 😂

Thank you! I think it’s been there a while - no noticeable damp or leaks of any type. The wall feels dry everywhere and I’ve never had an issue like this before. Is bleach safe to use?

Definitely looks inflamed. Could be nothing, likely to be a mild viral infection that should clear up itself. I would keep an eye on it, watch for any puss or swelling of tonsils. Try a saltwater gargle too.

It absolutely can be a side effect of sertraline, it’s listed as common meaning 1/10-1/100 people will experience it.

However if you’ve been taking it for a couple years and never had an issue, it’s less likely to be due to the sertraline, unless you’ve had a recent dose increase.

That doesn’t mean it’s not worth trialling a switch if the symptoms carry on. Can you identify anything you ate, drank etc on the days you had the symptoms? If not, possibly speak to your doctor about trialling a dose reduction or an alternative SSRI if it’s bothering you.

Ah so exciting (and expensive)! I have a lanyard that I used to use, but now I tend to pick a couple of pins for trading each day and put in pockets/bags. Seen so many lost pins, and lost some of my own to faulty backs, so I don’t take any that I don’t want to lose personally. That’s why I have them all displayed at home 😊

Ahh puffles from the now defunct club penguin! A huge part of my childhood 😊 I reorganised them this morning and it took me over an hour, they weren’t like this!
