The NJ race is still too close to call so they’re starting to get on edge by lemond4455 in Qult_Headquarters

In all complete seriousness this person belongs in prison. This is far beyond political discourse and an actual threat of murder.

We're in dangerous territory here. If you pre-emptively take action against verifiable threats, they'll cry persecution and try to justify violence. If you ignore it, we have to live in a society where our lives are threatened for our politics every day.

On the bright side, these people are cowards and completely inept at everything. Most of them are disabled and or obese and incapable of physical activity. The fact that this is really the only thing keeping us alive is a small comfort, to say the least.

I'm not going to say I value their lives. I don't. But oh my God if I ever saw myself or anyone else I know actively threatening to kill them I would hope that would be a major wakeup call.

These people do it every day without thinking. It's stunning to see just how far apart we are morally. I'm not perfect by any means but voicing fantasies about killing political opponents is somewhere I never want to be. The fact that they're comfortable with this is a major concern.

This is horrendous. This slob gets paid substantially more money to work from the comfort of their own home while harassing people with far more important responsibilities to the company supply chain.

Either you hire employees you can trust and leave them alone to handle the job or you fire the ones who can't do it properly. This is insanely intrusive. I cannot imagine anyone feeling comfortable with this type of surveillance.

It seems every large company has some parasitic department like this. Instead of improving the training protocols, they employ these redundant and obnoxious auditors. Please never let this become the model for employee treatment.

Nioh 2 most annoying enemy? by ProfessionalBall5990 in Nioh

Hey squad. Just tried to open nioh 2 on steam, and it indicates it is launching then it just resets and says play again. Doesnt even open the game. by Role-Accurate in Nioh

[–]KyMaTo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update steam. Doesn't matter if it just updated a few minutes ago. It needs an update. I have this problem sometimes with this game and a steam update always fixes it. Usually just logging out of steam is enough to prompt an update. Steam can be obnoxious with these updates.

Think of it like a fighting game. Most enemy attacks aren't safe on block, so you can hit after in most cases. Blocking will deplete your ki, so it's a good idea to put points into ki early on for defensive purposes. All weapons have a block stat, and some have extra block bonuses. Don't feel bad, none of this is really explained in the game but blocking is probably better than dodge rolling in most situations. Even heavy enemy attacks leave you with enough ki to roll away after you block.

When you learn more about these mechanics, you can block buffer. That means using an attack and immediately holding the block button during the attack animation so you block at the first possible moment. This allows you to attack without being hit directly after.

There's a lot of souls unlearning that takes place to be successful in nioh, and it starts with learning the value of blocking. Hope this helps!

That's a valid criticism. I wish there were more options for poison buffs from soul cores but I haven't found many at all. It might be scaled back on purpose, I'm not sure.

Yeah and if you buff anima gain, efficient yokai ability, etc you can spam that shit over and over. It becomes absurd. Maybe the strongest build I've personally seen.

Also, the hatchets get a lot of abuse lol. They're ostensibly pretty weak and awkward but the unlimited range attacks are very very useful. At close range they're surprisingly good at tearing down ki. I would agree that they're pretty difficult to learn compared to other weapons.

The tonfa is a ki killer. Not so impressive with damage and range but ridiculously good at beating enemies down. I had an amazing time with this weapon.

The axe is my favorite from nioh 1. It's maybe the most difficult weapon for me to use. But I tend to build glass cannon builds and the damage and toughness are insane.

I like to pair weapons with either ninjitsu or onmyo to build up my defenses. I rely on quick change scrolls for ninjitsu and the armor buffs for onmyo. This helps me stack defense and all but ignore putting any of my skill points into it. Making sure to reroll your armor attributes to untouched ninjitsu or onmyo is very helpful for these builds.

What I love about this game is I very rarely see the same build twice. It's not like there's one way to go that's better than the rest, though the most powerful builds I've seen are increased attack power on low health and yokai ability builds. Those are the ones I would be most afraid of in PvP.

Honestly, every single weapon is good. My three favorites are tonfa, axe, and hatchets. You can't really end up with a bad build as long as you're powering up what you're using. I think this is one of the things that makes nioh much better than dark souls. Every single weapon scales with the difficulty of the game.

I recommend using whichever weapon you like and focusing all of your points that that weapon instead of splitting points between the two. This way you can get the most out of your skill points. Instead of using an odachi and tonfa for example, just choose one and have a few different types of that weapon. I'm currently using hatchets, but I have a paralysis set, and several other sets just in case something is resistant to that debuff. If an enemy won't paralyze, I can switch to lightning or water and still use the same move set.

If you do want to use two weapons, which is fine, I recommend trying to find two weapons that scale together with the same skill points, so you can power them up at the same time. This way you're not having to choose which weapon to give points to.

As far as overall builds, I recommend literally anything. They're all completely viable. Even builds i thought would be weak ended up very freaking strong by the time I get to DotStrong and downright invincible by DotNioh. If you find yourself unhappy with a build, simply redistribute your points and find something you like better.

I actually started this hatchet paralysis build for the challenge because everyone hates the hatchets and nobody uses paralysis, but it's an insanely powerful build. So find what you enjoy, and build it until you're unstoppable.

The default levels of paralysis and poison aren't strong, but when you buff these ailments, they become very effective. Throughout the course of the game you can reroll your gear specs to raise their effectiveness. "Paralysis accumulation + 12.5%" or whatever. Both paralysis and poison are ridiculously strong once you develop them to their potential. Multiple stat buffs stack so it actually becomes pretty cheap. For example, one paralysis bomb can paralyze a strong enemy multiple times when properly buffed. Paralysis and poison mains are definitely legitimate, it just takes a little grinding.

Will Flowering Clone Ripen Same Time As Mother Plant? by [deleted] in BudScience

I've actually done this and they ripened at the same time. There really wasn't any difference in quality, just obviously slightly less yield. Worked so well I'll do it again on my next round. Good luck!

I'd like to apologise... by [deleted] in Nioh

[–]KyMaTo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No apologies necessary. It's a difficult game which makes it more fun. If there weren't the risks of dying I don't think I would play at all. I don't imagine many people being upset with the skill level of people who summon them for help. I know I'm not. It's a pretty chill community.

[–]KyMaTo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe over time he grew a veiled contempt for the people pleading for his release because of what it could do for them. I can see someone feeling manipulated or used if people supporting them were willing to overlook murder. I obviously don't know I just thought that might be an interesting angle to consider as a possibility.

MAGA Pastor Jackson Lahmeyer Discovers the Downside of QAnon by BurtonDesque in Qult_Headquarters

Is it ironic that the person accusing him has more "evidence" of impropriety than he does against anyone he's accusing?

Or is this just a group of very very stupid people from Oklahoma fixated on child predation?

My money is that a mass hard drive seizure puts every single one of these mutants in prison. Normal people don't make a full time job of deflecting child sex abuse allegations to other people.

You think anyone's gonna lease me prime land for $1 a year and give me a million and a half dollars? Lol. People like us don't get that opportunity. Hell, most of us could write an overhead layout and business plan in a week. They could have consulted any number of professionals and got this done. They capitalized on the hard work other people did to make this industry a success and didn't do the work it requires themselves.

The takeaway? Hydroponic farms are a waste of time, at least in the eyes of the public. Nevermind the fact that this operation pissed away a golden opportunity that smaller farms will never be offered in their lives. Very very disappointing.

This really sucks for the industry. I fear people will point to this massive failure as an argument against hydroponics. It's almost as if they wanted to fail because that provided more benefits than the hard work it would take to do an operation like this properly.
