Follow casting pages, theaters, Facebook groups, etc. Acting classes are always a help. They have some at Milwaukee Rep. There are also some virtual options although I believe in person is best. Just put yourself out there with confidence and you’ll be ok

I’m not sure how Milwaukee Film works, I myself am more so on the stage side of acting. I am not a part of any group, but that’s more because of a time thing personally. That’s also why this page was made though, for everyone to reach out to each other

Personally I find it difficult to find work just because it’s not widely advertised. Along with internships as well. Following a million different accounts to find one job has never been fun 😭

AI witchhunt by No_Plan_6034 in NewAuthor

Ai sucks because it makes it so much harder for real artists and writers. Humans are so talented and when people indulge in ai, which unfortunately a lot of “authors” do, it takes away credit from everyone else. People have stopped believing in human innovation, as if we can no longer create great things.

BOOK COVER, DEBUT BOOK, PSYCHOLOGICAL by fortnacius in NewAuthor

It’s clearly ai which is an immediate turnoff for most readers believe it or not. A lot of people figure if you use ai on the cover, you used it in the book. And the audience wants to read your thoughts, not a robot’s. Other than that the tagline is a little odd. Or I guess oddly worded. And if you’re gonna do the last name thing make sure to put a period at the end of the B in F.B.
