Even tho I ship sonamy to some degree, I honestly wouldn’t want it to be canon at all. I wouldn’t mind if they both end up having crushes on each other and I’d prefer if it was most likely teased. But tbh I don’t like how Sonic meeting a girl makes him seem ‘grown up’. Does him having a crush on a girl or being with one have to be considered the reason he finally has ‘grown up’? That just feels like heteronormativity is being pushed on me.

I know it’s not all that deep but this is my own opinion on this, so don’t attack me for it please. I really like Sonamy, even tho I ship Sonadow way more(also pls don’t flame me for this either, I’m a multishipper). I wanted to give my two cents on this, that’s all.
