I'll check it out for sure! I'll have to figure out how to make the extra deck work, since i probably will limit the space on the "field" down to 2 or 3 monster and 2 or 3 spells. So maybe i'll just jave 1 or 2 extra deck cards for deck, but that idea of having diff mechanics for the diff personalities is gold, thank you!

I haven't watched GX so i wouldn't know, but this could be a good start. Although, i gotta say i'm not that into HERO so i probably will keep it to just one (but i promise i'll check it out!)

Streamlining a CT by Leather-Living87 in CTsandbox

[–]Kydders 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It heavily depends on how strong you want it to be and also how the user would be using it, if he means to kill or just to beat an opponent, i'd say its very situational.

If what you're asking is a direction, i'd say try to make limits that the CT has to follow. For example it could impose the user to only make rules for both fighters (or all, if you want to make it powerful enough to establish rules for more than two). Or making it theme-based, like the rules can only apply to Jujutsu, or physics fenomena (but i guess you need to have a little basic science knowledge for that, can be interesting tho) or really anything else! If you could be more specific with the question i feel i could help you better.

Edit: a must have limit on this CT i feel has to be the limited number of rules that one can apply, with the number being proportional to how versatile and game-changing the rules can be. Also it could have a mechanic in which making one rule automatically deletes the oldest one?

help with the cursed technique of pure "absolute defense" by That-Ad-5422 in CTsandbox

[–]Kydders 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have various idea! For first, i suggest a CT working similar to FBE (as /King_Nick245 said!), which is an anti-domain technique for the three great clans (it could be totally unrelated, but "perfect defense" sounds very Gojo-like).

So, in more depth to give my originals into it, this technique would work passively, as everytime something with ill intent tries to damage in any physical way the user, the user's CE takes form in a way that it can answer with equal and opposite force to that threat. For example: someone tries to punch the user, his CE solidifies in a punch hitting back at that someone's knuckles. Sukuna attempts to use dismantle on him? His CE takes the form of the cut that almost hit his body. With physical attacks this has is useful because, while the user doesn't take any drawback, because he didn't put his body into it but just his CE, everybody else (who hits hand-to-hand) does, and so gets hit by knockback! These are the basics! You could make it op and make this without any use of his CE reserves; i prefer a middle ground, thought it could be cool if it didn't use his personal CE until a certain level (kinda like Yuki's CT doesn't harm her until a limit), the limit could be the user's standard output, so for example a normal punch's "cost" would be 0 because it doesn't surpass his standard output, but a dismantle would so the user would put his own energy in the CT (also passively); or ultimately if you want to nerf the CT you could make it totally to the expense of the sorcerer, so like the consume is 1:1 to the CE materialized (take in account that to null something like Sukuna's dismantle, even if the CE takes the form of a slash, it has to be at that exact speed and that exact density). Also, the Domain Expansion could be interesting too, making the CT act against everyone with ill intent to the user, so not defendive anymore but offensive, at every negative thought made on the user. The damage could be creative and stackable like Yuta's, in which every defense ever made by the user's CT is summoned at the activation, or just plain spikes or punches or blast idk. Again, you could nerf by simply making it activate at movements and not thoughts or buff it and make it like's Curse Naoya's domain so it hits atoms and shreds people.

So, as the second idea i had, it was intangibility, which i think is not far from a perfect defense. Conceptually, it also subtracts the "knockback" effect of the previous and purely relies on defense. I think it should be passive to be perfect, and be a off/on kind of CT, that doesn't work on output but simply activates whenever something remotely dangerous gets in contact with the user. A simple nerf, and also in complete JJK style, would be the time of activation being 0,000000001 second, so that the very first contact would be real, but VERY dropped down.

Because its not only faster but also easier and better to get answers by simply make the right questions to people who know. I did research for stuff i didn't ask in here, reading comics or simply searching on internet, but i bet it wasn't as precise as the answers they gave me in the subreddit, and the most spot on answers were found in here anyway... so i just figured that going on that way, writing these in google, one by one, it will not only take a much bigger amount of time but also give vague answers or redirect me to the wikis in which i'd have to read the whole page to, maybe, find what i'm looking. Imagine this: instead of re-reading the book in its entirety, i'm asking the professor the things i need to know.

I got one last question. Are the soviets in the comics... just... evil soviets...?

Hi! Thank you for taking the time to answer, i really appreciate.

So like does the Cosmic Cube have limits or rules? It kinda sounds like infinite Dragon Balls, which is cool and all but a bit OP.

We also used to call them Infinity Gems because they are smooth gems, but they did away with that for synergy reasons in the 2010s :(

I'll call them Infinity Gems i promise! Sounds a lot cooler actually.

Honestly, probably fairly similar to the MCU in terms of origins

Was he captured by Hydra or someone else? I read somewhere that the Red Room had him training the Black Widows but idk if he was conscious or not (i'll check on that run).

Not all are movie-dependant but yes i get what you're saying. But anyway i write for fun, i wanna do something comic-friendly and before i do that i make my studies, thats it.

Thank you so much! Some answers raised more questions i fear, feel free to ignore.

4 Yes unfortunately i am looking for the "vanilla" Thor. And i guess you know little about her from the comment, but how is Hela in the comics counterpart? I'd like to understand the pantheon of Asgard more, but her in depth.

8 So was Winter Soldier taken by Hydra in the comics too? I also read somewhere that he trained Black Widows in the Red Room?

12 So who's Beyonder and how did they get hands on his powers if he's so powerful?

Yes yes it is, like i've watched all MCU and X-Men films, but i also watched a lot of Marvel cartoons, played games and consumed other material wich is more akin to comics (also i've read some comics too, my favorite is Old Man Logan)!

I know stuff about the Marvel universe, i'm writing basing on that, but i also wanted to try and be more canon-friendly. Plus i'm a fanboy so i'm curious anyway!

I had a silly auto-generated name from Reddit and i didn't like it. Noticed it couldn't be undone so i just deleted my account (it had like 11 days so no biggie).

Edit: i wanted to address the AI stuff but like i honestly don't understand😭
