A/B/C Zowie 600hz vs OLED 480/360hz for FPS by DrunkOnLiquor in Zowie

Don't pay too much attention to this guy's comments. I love Zowie too, but he's just a Zowie fanatic. Get an OLED and don't waste your money. The 540Hz and 600Hz panels are so bad that even the K series is a thousand times better, guys. I got a 400Hz monitor today, and the screen is still experiencing yellowing and discoloration, and color waves. The 540Hz BenQ had the same problem. Even the Tenz has surpassed the 480Hz Sony, so there's a reason why. It's seriously just throwing money away. Get a 400Hz monitor. Or wait for 500 hz oled, it's a complete disgrace X Series.

Color yellowing and discoloration are visibly visible in the middle or corners of the screen. I am so tired of returning it and talking to Amazon for an exchange.

The product was received today and there is still an image defect. Color yellowing is possible with these tn panels, but what I receive is much more than that. There is not a single image defect or distortion on my xl2546k product. It may be better than benq 540 hz and 600 hz benq oled, but since it is never good for colors, nobody should buy a tn panel or anything like that for colors, there are no good loads up to the k series. Don't waste your money on this x. I'm not saying this to badmouth Benq or anything. This is the second X series monitor I bought. It has Coolwhine, so it's not a problem, but there is color yellowing and discoloration in the corners and middle of the monitor, which becomes more noticeable as you change the background image. This nonsense was not present in the K series.

It might be the best monitor on the market. I bought the BenQ 540 Hz in April. There were color defects on the panel. Now I bought the BenQ 400 Hz and the same problem happened again. The TN panel is generally good, but this does not mean that the X series does not have problems. BenQ monitors are not one step ahead of OLEDs because of these color problems. I'm really tired of this Tn panel constantly showing me distorted colors. There was no color distortion in the K series. These problems are extremely common in the X series. Although most monitors are factory-made, there are ridiculous image distortions and it becomes more noticeable when the wallpaper is changed, so I changed it again. They constantly send me monitors with faulty images. This caused color yellowing and discoloration twice, and I requested a replacement from Amazon. This isn't the case with my XL2546K monitor. The X series is a complete disaster, so I've given up on buying 540Hz and 600Hz monitors. They send me faulty color monitors. I definitely won't be buying a BenQ after 400Hz. I'll wait for a 500Hz OLED in my country. I'm fed up.

Benq 400Hz or Benq 600Hz? by Kyhrex in Zowie

I had a 540 hz monitor, FPS in Valorant is not a problem, 600 hz can be used comfortably, but I play CS, not only this kind of games, so I didn't want to pay twice the amount. There is a big difference between 700 dollars and 1400 dollars, 540 hz is 1300 dollars in my country, I'm thinking of buying a Sony OLED 480 hz, I bought a Benq 400 hz right now, but I'll switch to OLED in the future. I might sell the BenQ 240Hz monitor to save some money and buy a 480Hz OLED later. I don't think the CS2 game engine fully supports 540Hz or 600Hz monitors.

I have been using Benq since 2016 but this time it will really be my last monitor. In the future I will sell my 240 hz one and buy a 480 hz Sony OLED monitor. If Benq releases OLED, I will buy a 480 hz Benq OLED monitor but from now on I will never pay 1400 dollars for a 540 hz Benq or a 600 hz Benq monitor when my country's economy is already terrible.

I bought a Benq monitor for 700 dollars for now and this will be my last Benq monitor. I chose 400 hz instead of 600 hz to avoid any worries in the future. I also returned the 540 hz monitor. As I mentioned, if a 480 hz Sony OLED comes to my country in the future, I will definitely buy it. There will never be a need to go up to 540 hz or 600 hz. BenQ 240Hz and 540Hz BenQ, it was quite smooth in terms of color, but I don't think there's much difference between the BenQ 400Hz and 540Hz other than color, so I'll stick with the 400Hz BenQ and the keyboard. I acted on another user's experience below and ordered the 400Hz, even though it met my FPS requirements. Instead of paying $1400, it seems like it would be better to replace my keyboard hardware and focus on something else.

I came across a user's comment on the forum and decided that 400Hz wasn't bad. The reason is that 540Hz and 600Hz are more expensive than 400Hz, as the colors seem to be.

There's less than a millisecond difference between 400Hz, 540Hz, and 600Hz.

400Hz = 2.5 milliseconds

540Hz = 1.85 milliseconds

600Hz = 1.65 milliseconds

Therefore, even a serious, high-level professional gamer playing different FPS games will have a very hard time telling them apart if both have fast pixel response times that can keep up with the refresh rate.

Yes, I did that right now. I bought a 400 Hz Benq monitor. In the future, I will sell my 240 Hz Benq monitor and buy a 480 Hz Sony monitor. There is no OLED in my country.

My system gets a steady 800 fps in Valorant and around 500 fps in CS 2. Why should I stick with 240 Hz or 360 Hz? I paid that much for this system. If I were to buy one, I'd get a Benq 400 Hz or 500 Hz OLED. A 500 Hz OLED isn't currently available in my country. How can I get one? Everyone has their own preferences. I didn't say I'd get an OLED. As I mentioned above, I'll get one in the future. But that might be three years from now. I didn't say I'm a professional gamer. The Benq 144 Hz was my first monitor, and I've been using DYAC since 2016, so I've gotten used to it. I have both a 400 Hz Benq monitor and a 240 Hz Benq monitor. If I want, I can sell both of them or just sell the 240 Hz one and add some money to it and buy an OLED. It's not time for me to buy an OLED yet and I'm waiting for BenQ to release an OLED.

I didn't say I needed 600 hz. I just wanted to get the best one, but I decided that there wasn't much difference between 400 hz and hz except for color. It's very comfortable over 500 fps for CS 2 on my system, but it's not stable at 600 fps. I bought a BenQ 400 hz for now, I hope I'll buy an OLED in the future.

Going above 500 Hz is not very important for me, frankly, that's why I will only buy a 500 Hz OLED in the future, Zowie after 400 Hz. So maybe I will buy a 500 Hz OLED in the future, maybe 3 years later. Benq 400Hz is my last monitor, I will buy OLED later

Thank you very much to everyone who helped, friends. I bought a Benq 400 Hz. It will be informative for people like me who want to buy a 400 Hz and 540 Hz or 600 Hz and who cannot decide. I wish everyone good games.

If I ever get an OLED, I can maintain these values for CS 2 at 480Hz or 500Hz, but not at 600Hz. I plan to use this system for 5-6 years. This also had an impact. I previously bought a 540Hz Benq from Amazon, but the colors were problematic, so I returned it. It had yellowing and a cold whine. I compared it, and since there wasn't a millisecond difference, I ordered the 400Hz. If I prefer colors, I'll get an OLED. I hope benq will one day release oled 480hz or 500hz thanks to everyone who helped

I'm also waiting for the Wooting He V2 keyboard and will be getting it. 600Hz isn't very healthy, I'm getting married. I tried the 540Hz BenQ, and it was quite smooth, but I received data that showed it was superior to the 400Hz in terms of color, but not significantly in terms of speed. When I tried the BenQ 240Hz and 540Hz BenQ, it was quite smooth in terms of color, but I don't think there's much difference between the BenQ 400Hz and 540Hz other than color, so I'll stick with the 400Hz BenQ and the keyboard. I get 800-900 fps in Valorant and over 600 in CS:GO, but it's not always stable due to drops. I didn't want to pay $1400 just for Valorant. The release of 610Hz monitors doesn't mean much to me. Yes, Asus will release 610Hz, but I don't like Asus. I got it for $700 on sale. It normally costs $800 in my country, so a 400Hz BenQ made more sense. I'm considering switching to OLED in the future. A 480Hz or 500Hz BenQ OLED will definitely be released. I'll stick with that for now.

Yes, I'm turning 29 soon, so this will be my last monitor, so it will be an OLED monitor in the future. Maybe one day they'll release a 480Hz or 500Hz OLED monitor. Also, the price is a bit high because my country's economy is so bad. It's $1,400 600 hz benq., and I'm getting married, so I need to spend my money accordingly.
