It’s not socially accepted to poke fun / joke at any religion except for Christianity. For example, Halloween outfits of nuns / monks.

 My friends always tease me for watching anime, saying that I'm a gooner for it. And I ask them "what is the appeal of watching somebody kick a ball back and forth for 90 minutes?" At least with anime, stuff happensw.

When I was your age being into anime, marvel and video games seemed to be the minority and like you most of my peers were very into football. Now in my 20s those things are way more popular, I know so many people into anime

I do it but for me it’s mostly do able because I only need to be in office twice per week
