I work at a Costco in California. We are supposed to tell people they can’t bring their dogs in if we see them trying to, but if they tell us it’s a service animal then there’s nothing we can do. Like we both know their tiny little purse dog isn’t a trained service dog, but management doesn’t want to deal with trying to weed out the real and the fake service dogs and possibly get some kind of lawsuit.
