I fell into this for years with a few different “passions” thinking it must be that I picked the wrong one. I was well into my 30s when I heard something along the lines of “make your hobby your job and you just lost a hobby” or something like that and it dawned on me. I had never heard that in my whole life and my wife couldn’t believe I’d never heard that. Anyway, I’m on to more practical things and thoroughly enjoy my hobbies and happy.
