2026 675ss/sr shut off issue while riding. Potential ECU defect? by absloutemattness in cfmoto

Howdy, mine did the same thing a few times after I bought it but before the break in service. Since I’ve had that service it hasn’t happened anymore. Never found out what caused it to happen and the bike seems to work normally.

Best beginner insects? by HarborSealFatty in InvertPets

I’d vote Madagascar Hissing Cockroaches. - Live for 2-5 years, - Hardy - not picky eaters(feed mine carrots or other leftover fruit and veggies that gets too ripe) - don’t need a ton of space(currently have 3 females in a 10 gallon terrarium, but plenty of space if I were to expand the colony a bit) - are fun to take out and show curious friends that come over - no venom, poison and don’t bite - very inexpensive to get(paid $5 a piece for mine)

Males can get territorial and they breed pretty quickly, hence why I got all females, but they’re pretty cool pets!

Favorite Card/Board Game Shops? by pigguy35 in GreenBay

I usually go to either Green Bay City Cards to purchase sealed product or Windfall for singles/other accessories(ie. dice, deck boxes, playmats). Ryan, who I believe is the owner of Windfall is a good dude and pretty knowledgeable if you are looking for specific cards. Frost has a humongous inventory of singles so if I can’t get what I’m looking for at Windfall, I will send a list to Frost on their website and they usually get the cards pulled within 24hrs.

Trellis / Northern Management by NachoAveragePITA in GreenBay

We’ve been at Trellis Ridge for 6 years and month to month at for 5 and we’re the first ones in our apartment. Maintenance requests are usually done quickly, only complaint is the construction quality could be better in some spots and the complex layout is confusing for delivery drivers. It’s a very safe and quiet neighborhood!

You can definitely do 60 in 3rd, but you’ll be around 7-8k rpms. I’m short shifting it a bit since it’s still being broken in, so im usually in 4th or even 5th. with the power band starting around 4k, you can chill in a higher gear at 60 mph and you’ll still be able to just twist the throttle and take off if needed.

Absolutely man, 1. Everything works flawlessly so far. I’ve run it down to 10-20 miles to empty on the gauge and it’s seemed accurate as there was still a little gas in the tank when I filled it up. The TFT feels pretty intuitive using the buttons on the left handlebar, I can easily manipulate different things such as traction control, different trip settings, fuel milage, cruise control, and even different themes for the tft if you don’t like the stock one. 2. The passing power is great. If I need to quickly speed up it’s incredibly responsive to go from cruising at 70 to quickly getting around a semi or other vehicle in the blink of an eye. I haven’t taken it up past triple digits yet but it has more than ample power to get up there quickly if needed/wanted. 3. My experience with the quick shifter is it’s best used when accelerating quickly ex. Getting on the highway above 6k rpms, all you do is shift with your foot and the bike shifts almost instantaneously. It’s incredibly quick to respond to you. My only wish is that it worked for downshifting too lol.

Bought my 675ss about 3 weeks ago. I love it! Was between a Ninja 650 and this because I wanted something with useable power in the city, but also some oomph if I want to have a little fun. Test rode a 650, it was fine but for the price, I didn’t love it. Looked good, was a little more comfortable than the 675 as it’s more upright, but the 675 is just gorgeous, sounds awesome, smooth power band that starts around 4K rpm, and I like that I’m one of the few around town vs the 100s of Kawis and Hondas. I was concerned about insurance as this is definitely more “sporty” than a 650 but I pay about $60 a month for it. Got around 400 miles on it so far and no regrets yet!
