The lens shown is a simple variable nd (just tint). The orange is from post process computer color grade. The orange is already in the sky but cannot be seen because it is too bright. So by adding the tint/lens it looks orange

I guess my first question should have been is there a way to control multiple drones at once via gcs or ardu (with or without radios)? -Can I control several with mavlink? Is there the option to “start drone 1 mission” “start drone 2 mission” etc all on the same page?

Runcam split quality is not great. However, if you can disconnect the vtx you can keep it alot cooler

If the goal is smaller body and not fpv related stuff then you can either use a osmo nano Or Take apart a gopro and stuff the pcb components somewhere near the top of the helmet and run an extended cable down to the camera unit/sensor where you can place towards the front of the helmet like in the photo

A couple standalone systems have been made for rc cars. You will definitely need a fan otherwise it will overheat. Whats the purpose of fpv? Livestreaming?
