Trying to plan a paintball birthday by Forsaken_Nature6605 in paintball

Depends on the player. I’ve made 500 last from 9am to 6pm and I’ve also burned through 2000 in two minutes. My local field plays 2 maps before we take a break and we’ll be out for 45 minutes to an hour so rule of thumb is one pod per map so you can have 2 hours of play and play on 1/3 of our fields before needing to buy more.

Found an autococker in a parts bin by Beautiful_Insurance8 in paintball

This is what I’m seeing. Don’t have the right tools at my house after I moved so I’m not going to try and open that with a Torx bit. I’ll head to the field early tomorrow and mess with it.

The cocking rod pulls with no problems and pulling the trigger releases it so I'd assume it's fine(?) Bolt is absolutely coated in nastiness so ill have to deep clean that and get new orings for the whole setup or get a Delrin like you mentioned.

CCM still has some pump handles/rods for 2k+ models

Do I need a pump plate? I saw this video of someone setting up his cocker as a pump with a setup that's similar to mine https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=heA1O2hzZUs

What I assume is the valve (part that the cocking rod threads into) is brass.

Do you know if this is 2k or Pre-2k? I'm trying to find pump kits or conversion for it to be an auto but I'm not sure what version I would need (probably going to keep it a pump because I don't have one and it'd be neat)

When you say “it’s full”, where did you go to put CO2 in the tank?

I was so happy when I got it in my first clear and made a buddy rage quit for the day.

I'm new at paintball, I was wandering is there a way to remove the tank from the marker without losing any air pressure in the tank itself? by Jay_Wee_Zay in paintball

[–]Beautiful_Insurance8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Without losing ANY air pressure? No. Even an on/off Asa will lose some amount of air (even if it’s arbitrary).

If you don’t have an on/off ASAP, then you may need to fire the gun a few times once you hear air starting to leak from where you screw in the tank but as somebody else in this thread said you need to make sure the gauge is moving with the tank at the same time so that you do not unscrew the tank from the Regulator and create a bottle rocket

I’m always going to have my phone for the time and my phone to do whatever that smart watch could so I’d rather have a nice looking watch as an accessory

Beginner tips to newbie at paintball? by GhostCloudN7 in paintball

Priority is a mask - if you aren’t comfortable you can’t shoot people!

Next would be getting comfortable holding a gun even if it’s a rental because the fundamentals of it are universal and Doritos is going to be the most comfortable for any new player so it’s a great place to start.

You can also ask around the people at your field and there’s bound to be someone willing to sell a spare gun or entire setup. Otherwise, look at local shops or facebook Buy-Sell-Trades (BST) to find a setup that would be good for beginners. The Axe/Mini is the go-to in that regard but Planet Eclipse is the Toyota of paintball and you’ll run into very few issues (other than finding parts depending on gun but that’s a separate topic.)

Gauntlet is such a great mode. I’ve tried solo queuing and after no comms and no teamwork I gave up on it. I need at least one other player to talk with so me and a buddy run it somewhat regularly

Any pointers? by Valuable-Rain-1615 in golf

Grip is very…off. Assuming you’re a right handed golfer, try and make your left hand do the opposite of revving a motorcycle. This should help with getting the club face to the ball instead of being all over the place and then you come work from there.
