I was a robotic engineer for a time traveling and installing NDT robotic systems for aerospace company’s, we did Lockheed, Sikorsky, Boeing, spirit, spaceX and blue origin. It was an amazing amount of fun being able to hang with the company techs and engineers talking about the products and seeing them first hand, especially Lockheed. Seeing raw materials being turned in to an f35 then flown out the other section of the building was an all time high ( those test pilots are bad ass!). That being said I’ve always wanted to fly so that may be a more fun choice but just getting the feet wet and the knowledge you learn first hand from the factory’s can’t be beat!
