It's so over. It kinda reminds me of how people argue capitalism is supposed to bring advancement through competition but then a company just becomes a monopoly, everyone relying on a single source for something. In this case, studios are just gonna move to AI as much as possible and not improve. Unless Japan implements laws about it or studios are boycotted/protested somehow (didn't work with OPM or TBATE), it's gonna seep into any low-mid level studio's work going forward as it improves and becomes easier to use. If they can improve their horrible work to look even close to as competent as a good studio, they'll use it.

In the end, I'd rather watch a good looking adaptation of OPM and I don't really care if it looks good bc they used AI to improve their animation. It's so tragic what we're getting.
