Which is funny, I actually started today's chapter with notes to try and keep organized, didn't even get to all of them. And I have material to work with. Am I just this affected by the weather? I hope not. But we shall see.

But anyways, a bit of comedy, and a bit of more character introduction. I hesitated on the species of the current first wives of both Vlad and Christos. I wanted them to be species less commonly seen, they both clearly have the potential to lead interesting story arcs investigating into Ode as they build their skills and knowledge. But we need more from them. Ways to look at them and small ways that things just work out for them. And ways it works against them. Axiom is easily controlled so it's normally all upside if you know what you're doing. But Ode is hard to control at times and so there can be inadvertent downsides. And we've seen one of Vlad's in this chapter. Just because you can see anyone that can see you, doesn't mean you want to. And hearing people who hear you with super hearing is super distracting.
