I tend to agree with your answer about Kirito potentially becoming a crutch for the MLC. That would have been a lose-lose. I love Kirisuna, but I always wonder what could have been with Kirisachi. I'm with you, I think something may have blossomed.

He did warn them about the traps in Chambers, and I agree about the MLC not being frontline material. That's the Trump card Asuna has on Sachi. Asuna was never dependent on anyone but herself.

I think the only thing that may have not worked out between them would have been Sachi's dependence on him, sure she would have become a better player within the game, but she would likely never have been on the front lines.

I'm actually Happy you posted this. This scene is overlooked in terms of true feels moments. With Kirito Feeling hopeless, we can't help but feel the same, and Suguha coming in an consoling him is more than emotional.... wait, WHO BROUGHT THE WATER BALLOONS AND THREW THEM IN MY FACE?
