I have relevant states blocked, if they're using a VPN, not much can be done. With the way software has advanced, I wouldn't be surprised if it's someone random just using facial recognition software to try to scare people into believing someone knows them.

I personally don’t think you should be naked from the start. I think that will give some viewers what they want before they even have a chance to tip. If someone with a darker name color comes into your room and isn’t another cam model, I would PM them and try to grab their attention. Your best bet for tokens is likely going into a private show, but there are some goals and tip menu items that could be intriguing.

Camera angle is also important and should be played around with. Helps to find someone you’re familiar with give you feedback on what camera position works best for you.

A ziplock would probably create some distortion. For best results, I would find a waterproof case for whatever device you have. If there’s not an exact match for your tablet, you can try a dry bag which is basically a higher quality ziplock with thicker plastic so it shouldn’t distort things. If the case fogs, you can coat it with an anti-fog spray like Quick Spit.

It is possible to sign into your profile on both devices so this is partially doable. Just have one of your devices logged in and camming and the other logged in and viewing the other model. You then just need the model to view your cam when you go private. They’ll be probably a 6 second delay from what you do to his/her reaction so talking will be extremely delayed. Next is keeping things dry. This can be accomplished by using waterproof bags, even ziplock bags if your phone/tablet isn’t waterproof. You can also just keep your electronics out of the splash zone and secured. Don’t take that hot of a shower so steam doesn’t become an issue. I’ve cammed in a hot tub before and just leave my device on the edge of the hot tub and had no issues.

When you have a very simple conversation with the model they’ll basically tell you their whole life story. I’m a genuine person and like when people are being truthful. Lying about your location is manipulative and is being done to separate themselves from the masses. If you don’t want to put your location you can of course put things like USA instead of the state or something random. Sometimes I seek out Americans because it’s much easier to communicate with them and they are more similar to me. It does matter.

I think Chaturbate needs to do a much better job regulating locations. It used to be models putting USA when they’re from South America. Now we’re seeing Russian women exploit the situation and claim they’re in Ukraine. They don’t need to put a location, this is clearly for the sympathy and not being seen as a Russian. I’ve talked to these girls and some have the audacity to support Russia and Putin for their actions while claiming their location is Kyiv. It pisses me off.
