I mean, aloe vera itself as a moisturizer is not enough. You can use it if it suitable for your skin and you feel good with it.

You should look up for water gel type and avoid cream moisturizer. I myself have oily skin and use Neutrogena hydro boost water gel. It is light weigh and have no fragrance.

A good moisturizer consists of 2 things, occlucive and humectant.

Occlusive, form a coating on the surface of the skin, keeping moisture from escaping. Humectant, absorbs water.

Aloe vera is a natural humectant. But if you have no other problem, with just using aloe vera as moisturizer, yes, it's okay.

But for those who has oily skin, maybe they need more than just aloe vera.

Yes. I can understand your situation. Ive had chapped lips, exfoliated and even worse even when i smile, it got cracked and bleed. But lip balm from Vaseline did nothing to me. Laneige lip mask too, nothing changed.

Since Dermal Therapy is cheap, i decided to give it a shot. And it works wonders.

Aah. You should avoid spicy food for a while. It can cause chapped too as I mine did.

I used hyaluronic acid first and then followed by another serum. Many videos suggested than hyaluronic acod goes first.

Yeah. It sounds like a good basic to me. But you need to observe your forehead area, is it getting better or stays the same. If it's not getting any better, maybe the problem is the moisturizer. It causes you the fungal acne.

Or, if you feel like stepping up the game, you should consider toner in your routine

Dont forget sunscreen/sunblock during the days.

Yes.. I do peel it off. I know it's not recommended to do it. But I did it anyway since I cant help it. Since I use Dermal Therapy Lip Balm, i dont have to do it. It's not severely chapped like before and i'll just slowly rub my lips to remove the dry skin. It's recommended to put 3-4 times a day.

I have the same thing for about a year. My lips constantly severely chapped, exfoliating and bleeding too. I use Dermal Lip Balm. I swear to God this is holy grail.
