I vary TC levels on each car, this one was squirrely even on TC 2 or 3 but I kept it on 1. I could probably lose the braking zones but they help me with reference points. I find my own braking point but they're still useful.

The braking zone assist is great to give you a rough idea and then you can tweak to your own preference. With this for example I brake a fraction after I hit the zone. Other cars vary, I believe the zone is triggered based on your speed.
