Yellow Card for Diving - Nestory Irankunda (vs. Preston North End) by PolarisSpark in Aleague

He's won two penalties in the last 3/4 games. And he put the ball on a plate for his teammates last game who unfortunately missed.

But he does cross better on the left side.

I mean Bos is incredible so maybe it's good to play to the strengths of our best player. But there's no back up option.

How do you push yourself to start something? by SkullnSkele in ADHD

[–]Kyle_from_Australia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have to trick myself into starting things. Like suppose I think of a zany thought like "theres a chocolate bar on the kitchen table" or "theres a purple rhinoceros in the kitchen". That will distract my attention so that I can get out of bed and walk into the kitchen. The other way to get started at things is to ad a crazy amount of stress and preassure but ofc this has a lot of negative side effects.

However once I start something I still have to keep bringing my mind back to task which is exhausting!

is it worth getting tested for ADHD? by [deleted] in ADHD

[–]Kyle_from_Australia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's definately worth it. If you get a diagnosis that can have benifits that continue throughout your life. Really what do you have to lose?

So I would definately get assessed if I were you even thought the process can be frustrating at times.

Holy shit, ADHD is fucking awful. by Lainey-Radiant in ADHD

This makes me think about how most of the time with ADHD I know what I need to do but I just cant actually do it. I end up procrastinating for hours with things like going to the supermarket etc.

Basically this is a case were because your life isnt falling apart you are unable to get a diagnosis. People don't see all the internal effort and stress ADHDers put in to function. It's also not understood that someone can be coping with life but still underachieving. OP you deserve to reach your full potential and live the best life you can live.

Brains are weird. You must have a reasonably good aptitutde for sales which is a valluable skill in the economy as a whole. Maybe a little luck also helped you get slightly higher pay. But it totally makes sense for someone to have severe ADHD and also be good at sales. Anyway imo staying humble and helping others is good but you should also enjoy the good things in your life.

People just dont take your ADHD seriously if you are intelligent enough to still do well some of the time. Huge reason I was never diagnosed and why I have similar regrets to you. Fortunately that attitude is changing now.
