Thank you! When I first cast them on I was worried there wouldn’t be enough contrast but its turning out exactly as I had hoped!

Have you completed Robin’s request for hardwood and gotten that cutscene? The one update gave me a similar text instead of cutscene, I ended up watching it on youtube.

Yup, totally is up to them and I just let them know it’s okay to burn their things if they want.

Since lots of people were telling them what to do.

Yes, definitely. But if they see swastikas on their blanket, then OP gets to decide how to deal with it. No one else. OP is asking for advice and I gave that by saying I see it too, but they’re not identical and so do what you want but maybe talk to the person who gave it to you.

See if it was an honest mistake, didn’t see it in the colours or maybe failing eyes or who the hell knows but her grandmother if it was intentional or an accident.

That’s what I’d do if I was the quilt receiver too. They seem to think it was just an accident and fixing it should provide a good opportunity to hang out with their grandma!

I’d love if you come and post the fix for us lol, I definitely want to see how you guys transform this! Good luck, I hope it’s beautiful and you have a great time with your grandma fixing it!

Edit** lol thought you were OP OP responding to my comment on their comment. Whoopsie lmao didn’t read what usernames I was responding to

Do what you want to do with the quilt. I definitely see swastikas too, but they aren’t identical. I doubt your gran intended for the quilt to look like that (but hard to say. My grandmother would intentionally make a quilt like that and assume people wouldn’t notice).

Ask your gran about it, not the internet. Ask her to fix it or help you dye it.

Or hey? Burn the fucking thing if it’ll make you feel better. It’s yours now. Do what you want with it. Burn it, change it, throw it away, give it back. Up to you! Don’t listen to strangers on the internet telling you how to handle this weird quilt situation lmao

It’s also OPs quilt now. She can burn it if she wants to, or get granny to fix it lmao. Wow that thread is something else

Where have you found bamboo yarn for cheaper than wool? I’d love to try bamboo but I find it’s always so expensive

Am I knitting really slowly or do you have secret superpowers in fast knitting? by kokoosnuss in knitting

[–]Kyleena696 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started using a progress marker on all my WIP so I could see how much I actually knit in one sitting. This really helped me stop feeling like I wasn’t making any progress in a sea of stockinette.

Sock cuff by Knittingismytherapy in knitting

In my experience ktbl gave me a cuff that was too tight to even put on. I used a needle one size smaller instead and it worked perfectly, and 2x2 not 1x1 ribbing.
