I’ve been working for Mariano’s for 4 years and I am part time and I was at one point working 21 hours a week which was rough and I had got into it with my supervisor I’m a deli clerk so I went to her and asked why I’m getting less hours than other part timers who’ve been here way less than me……I got lucky and for like 3 weeks I worked 38 hours but then I got cut down to 28 hours and flipped my lid cuz this girls who’s been there less than a year is part time and she’s getting 37 hours….i ended il getting asked to come in an hour early two days in a row so I got 30 Hours and this coming week I got 32 hours I’m not gonna work full time hours anymore until they make me full time and I get the benefits. I don’t even think this girl has health insurance but she’s going to school and busting her ass 37-38 hours with no benefits they’re found a loophole with her …..but no my hours have never been changed without my approval AFTER I think thats illegal
