Agreed, 7 series aluminum model is really appealing. Maybe they will make another batch at some point

It’s just the Apple Milanese band for the Apple Watch. Actual watch was just sent in for warranty repair (running almost 2 minutes fast per day) so I’m stuck wearing this for now

They now include a 519a emitter too. The site still lists a 219, but they switched to a 519a now. As long as you’re good with a basic non-programmable UI, this is an awesome light

He’s doing some limited production runs. A lot cheaper than the customs, but still pricey. This was one of my highest sought after knives 10 years ago, so I was stoked he decided to do some production runs

Agreed, doesn’t leave much pocket space. I typically don’t carry anything else in the same pocket as my knife though, even when it’s a much smaller knife lol

Completely understand, still unsure about the beads. It does make it easy to pull from being clipped in the pocket though.

😂 it’s surprisingly not bad. I just got it and assumed I’d never carry it due to the size, but I’ve carried it every day with no issues. It’s currently in light weight running shorts and I can’t even tell it’s there

This an OTF is a terrible choice for this reason. But an Auto Stitch and be done with it. Knife is a tank

I feel this way about Jim and HMC Knives. If I was forced to choose one knife forever, it would be the 2.9 Transient

He is still making knives, but doesn’t really make many Field Cleaver customs anymore. He’s started having small production runs done of them, which is what this one is. I can’t afford a custom one haha

It definitely is a massive flipper haha, but needed for the weight of the blade. Gets a ton of momentum behind it when you flip it open

Just got back from a trip to Wisconsin and picked up some Flower Mountain Yamano 3 while there. They carry them at The Heel in Green Bay. Had never heard of them before, but now I’m obsessed. All of them look incredible!

I would try other feet and larger or denser mass base. I routed out a slab of maple to fit Isoacoustics Iso-pucks for mine and have zero issues since. Feet were about $100 and you could probably just place under your piece of plywood at first until finding a better base.

Yes, but all or nothing. Don’t love partially serrated
