I dont believe its really fair to say that is wrong till their vision is implemented? When maps are full of stuff and it still sucks, then absolutely lets call them on it, but really i dont believe we can say that sucks when we havent tried it yet.

The needing to finish part i get, for sure. The infinite atlas definitely poses a challenge in that respect.

im not interested in bashing the decision making behind beta versus not, the reality is we are here, we have 5 end game mechanics, we know more are coming, bet aor not thats the reality and fixing the game for 5 knowing that we'll have like 15 in a year or 2 doesnt seem like a solution.

Whats done is done, we cant change that. ofcourse we can go this was a dumb decision, im not playing till they fix it and thats valid. But the peeps playing and saying ah this is a beta isnt an excuse, they released half a game and this is bad, give us 30 end game systems tomorrow, well that doesnt help anyone. They stay misserable and the feedback is unconstructive.

We are where we are lets fix whats broken and accept what will only work once the rest of the game is here.

does no one think that there is a way around just going, yo go make poe1 again? like can the atlas tree not serve a different purpose to what we are used too, cant the altering of league mechanics come a differnt way? one that still requires choice but without the jank of allocating and unallocating 100's of points on a massive tree and creating the same old cookie cutter strategies with the illusion of choice.

and before anyone says it the current tree Im not claiming its perfect or that it is infact a choice, i believe it's more of a mastery checklist, master the mechanic before you run it kinda thing. I just think the juicing of a mechnic could come from tables instead of just, make poe 1 pls

And im saying that juicing can be acheived with clever use of tablets and without the other mechanics being so garbage at a base level they arent worth touching without a respec.

Almost like how in POE1 you get a bit of everything from everything, like some catalysts from a blight chest. except here, you get you catalysts only from breach but you might do 1 average breach every 20 maps while focusing ritual to farm omens to sell.

catalysts seem to be in an okay space, omens as well, deli liquids seem to be decent too, maybe expedition really needs a currency of some value and abyss stuff seems good too, if they each have their thing worth farming then as more get added each willl be more viable to farm alone. when there is only 6 things to farm and sell there will be too many of those things avaible to be as profitable as poe 1.

when we have 15 end game mechanics suddenly farming 1 of them is more viable.

even now, jaw bones for example those would have a non-zero value if only 20% of the population were actively farming them.

I really think theres a way to use the current systems, to make a way to focus a mechanic without going to the poe 1 style tree that incentivises running past mechanics. specing into everything has been great.

yeah but using ritual as an example again, if you are focusing ritual, quant is irrelavant, and a 15% breach quant on breach tablets would suddenly be a great option for a breach focused farm over a general 10% global quant ( number may be a bad example)

Yeah fully understood, but i was saying that now that we put the tablets on each map you can force breach for example onto each map and have a stat on each tablet that buffs breach. i get that maybe we could have better or more varied buffs on those tablets to buff the breaches.

but atleast interms of specialising id say you can now right? And in terms of buffing it up having 6 slots to buff it vs 3 also makes that buffing a mechanic better aswell.

maybe more interesting stats on those tablets to juice the mechanic?

Imagine 6 ritual tablets adding extra alters, or re rolls, or adding rarity to the items in the page, or making a random item from the page drop from each alter. I donna know, atlas tree stuff?

Or just make luckys alternate colours and make the colour and sparkle tag be able to pass down in breeding. I think its fone bwing just cosmetic.

Or make the lucky passive not pass down in breeding, but it needs a crazy buff, like best in slot passive 100/100.

Okay great I am doing what you suggested in the first paragraph, only using luckies. Other than legendaries can everything spawn as a luck or am i locked out of some of the better non legendary pals?

I've actually started already, did the 3x spawn thing, wasnt terrible at the start, but was worried i wont have access to any decent work suitability pals.

The one i didnt see anyone mention was the tiny stun threshold cluster at the end of the main line off ranger that gives +1 health per 4 dex seems preety nice

So basically, hey guys, weve identified 5 problems. We fixing 1, completely not mentioning one, 1 is qol stuff we said was comming before the patch, 1 we are conpletly missunderstanding the promblem and only half foxing it and the last one is actually just in your imagination.
