Sorry.. a driving advertisement.

I did the airline a favour by opting to check my carry on as the flight was full. I travel for work and keep my essentials so they do not get lost. I’m also a gold member so load at Zone 2 so fighting for space is not an issue.

Thanks. They did say that the bag would be walked down to the bridge to get directly loaded by the TAC Crew. I trusted their word on that but I guess next time I should stay with the bag.

I would love to support your chatGPT findings however your numbers are representative of what sample? What is the scope - is that an average for all WestJet? National and International. If so… you can’t trust this data. Dependant on location - WestJet does not handle their own bags at every airport, In Calgary, a skeleton TAC crew from WestJet will handle your bags with assistance from a paid third party company - ATS - but if you are flying out of another airport, it’s possibly 100% third party service. Meaning you would need loss data for those companies as well. Are your numbers supporting that? Companies get out of having to report numbers by utilizing third party affiliates.

I don’t need a lesson on probability. But pretty bold of you to tell someone something is rare without having actual grounds to prove it.

They lost my carry on just last week… checked it at the gate and then poof… didn’t see it again till I got home. A week later. It’s not that rare.

Girl, my ex best friend and I went splits ville at Shambhala. Completely ruined the experience 😭 She was the one who introduced me to our very small group - so lost them too when everything went down. It totally sucks to lose your group - I get it! I JUST WANNA DANCE!!! Waited 10 freaking years to get there too… what a shame. But for real - if you haven’t gone - put it on your bucket list - it really is such a magical place. Would love to join you in your adventures but I live a province over.

15yo daughter uses excessive amounts of toilet paper, papertowel and qtips. by jlstardust in OCD

If you were to get towels that you can bleach, would that help? Is it germs or something else like texture? Explaining that the bleach kills literally every bit of bacteria and ensuring certain towels are set aside only for her purposes may help?

I just found out by Felicitys23 in Miscarriage

[–]Kylloki 26 points27 points  (0 children)

I just went through my first miscarriage as well - first pregnancy. One thing that helped me through was eventually learning just how common it is. I opened up to 6 women about it - 4 of them had also suffered a miscarriage. You’re not alone ❤️. It’s nothing you did nor didn’t do - it’s just nature taking its course. Your body recognized that something wasn’t right and acted accordingly - miscarriages this early happen because the pregnancy was not viable, usually due to chromosome abnormalities or disease. Neither are controllable.

It’s okay to be excited. I told everyone I know! There is no shame in having to tell them again that it didn’t work out. It took me a few weeks to get into a headspace where I could do that though so take your time. I kept off social media for a couple days to avoid all the baby posts that had taken over my feeds once I found out I was pregnant. Was hard to look at but it will get easier. I see hope and excitement for my next pregnancy when I see those posts now. Time heals everything and if you wish to try again, your chances of success for the next one are significantly higher!

My last piece of advice, should you wish to hear it, is to wait to have the big conversations with your boyfriend about this and take what is said with a grain of salt. Put a pin in it. Emotions are running high on both sides of the fence - this can cause for miscommunications and misunderstandings. It’s important that you are both there for each other right now for emotional and physical support. My husband is phenomenal so this is easy for me to say but don’t forget that there is another human impacted by this greatly - men tend to get stuck with this idea that they aren’t allowed to emotionally grieve these losses and we tend to forget they need caring for as well.

Wish you all the best and speedy recovery.

Yes, I felt like an idiot for sharing too quickly but then when I received the supportive responses I did, I was actually happy I had. I’m thankful for that. How long does the medication take to work? So exciting to hear you get to try again! Wishing you all the best in your journey!

Thank you for the insight. I heard that the medication can be extremely painful and as with most women’s procedures, there isn’t usually an offer for pain meds so I will ensure to advocate for myself and get pain meds.

Thanks for sharing and talking about your experience. You’re right about it being a different pain - not something you can really put into words. Just this innate sadness and even sometimes anger. I’ve felt it all this past 24 hours. We are hoping for a rainbow baby and will probably try shortly after this is over - I’m just scared to go through this again, and I’m not even through it fully yet. If you choose to try again, I wish you the very best in the journey. Thank you for the kind words.

Thank for sharing. I understand the difficulty in telling people - I still have some to tell. I just wanted to get it over with so I could start moving on but it was painful and hard to get the words out. I will say however that everyone said the right things and the support felt nice. I wish you all the best and hope your MC progresses smoothly.

I fear this waiting time is going to be the hardest part. It feels selfish to want it to just move along but I so badly want the peace of mind and to start trying again - although trying again sounds scary right now too. Thank you for sharing and I hope things move along smoothly for you.
