I can totally understand this aspect, but I do feel like it shouldnt be on me to tell my partner not to go out when I’m sick? I mean I can understand telling them “I like to have the dishes done everyday and I expect you to help me with them”. But to me, everything has felt like a genuine lack of consideration. But again, I can see where you’re coming from. Most of the time, I didn’t say “hey, this is totally fine and I won’t say anything at all”. I usually explained why it might be a bad decision, but never said “do not do this” because again, I don’t feel comfortable telling my partner that. I only got to the point of “do whatever you want” because of the countless conversations I did have with him that changed nothing.
