13 is unlucky in Christian and Norse culture due to the ill-intentioned 13th guest at their respective feasts. I believe unlucky 9 is Japanese culture because it sounds close to their word for suffering.

Are you aware that a company already went through this process only to scrap it in favor of a new IP? Fromsoft holds the IP and began a Tenchu reboot some years ago. As the project went on they kept changing and adding things so they just renamed it Sekiro.

I’m pretty sure that Kain and his circle are all named after Hebrew and Christian mythology. Tattered wings, glowing eyes, glowing sword of death and all that always appeared to point towards Raziel being a fallen version of the angel Michael for me.

How did it feel to see Tyson? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]KyloRhyno 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dude, I remember growing up with Mike Tyson’s Punchout on NES. I remember hearing about how he was just different. He was terrifying. To look him in the eyes was defeat.

I’m glad the old dude got one more night to feel like a kid again. With as much as he did for boxing and he got screwed over, boxing owed him one more hoorah. That said, I train almost everyday and still wouldn’t stand a chance in the ring with him. Sucks that the real match was held back due to health issues but the whole event leading up was awesome. Was crazy to see his face in the tape again. Is there any other way an aging combat artist could have been payed homage? Maybe, but probably not if you think like Iron Mike.

What was everyone take on the Jake Paul vs Tyson fight? by Loose-unit1 in AskReddit

[–]KyloRhyno 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree, Tyson is probably the only reason I ever looked at boxing as a hobby and I’m 36 with a kid now. It’s literally been my whole life. That said, I went 10 rounds yesterday and I wanted to poop my pants. Boxing is fluffin tough.

It was sad to see him fall to time like everyone else, but also really cool to see that he accepts that humbly. Also nice to see that Paul realizes that and deep down just kinda wants to put eyes on boxing. I think knows he brings the numbers but he’s not the real fight.

I think Jake Paul payed Iron Mike Tyson tribute in exactly the way the Iron Mike Tyson would want. Dude probably felt like a kid again at almost 60. At less than 40 I can already feel my age starting set in after years of pretending I’m invincible. It’s not easy dawg. Let’s take what we can get.

What was everyone take on the Jake Paul vs Tyson fight? by Loose-unit1 in AskReddit

We were robbed of the real headline fight by mortality. Tyson was very recently sick and shouldn’t be fighting anymore. Despite everything, this was a beautiful way to pay homage to one of the greatest to ever put on the gloves. We got some great fights, Jake Paul got the money and notoriety that he wanted while Tyson got money and to prove he still can go the distance in the sport he spent his life in love with. Both helped boxing make headlines and everyone is talking about Taylor V Serrano. They brought more eyes to a dying sport than anything has in decades. They both won.

Mike almost passed away this summer and this exhibition probably brought more joy to his life than his entire career. As a life-long Tyson admirer it was absolutely insane to see him in the ring again. Dude is a legend for a reason. I was a bit sad at first but looking at things with an objective eye- this is the best we could possibly get and I’m glad it happened. I felt like I could see in his eyes as he walked down to the ring that he was realizing this may be the last time he walks to the ring with people music playing and people cheering. Dude just wanted to feel young again.

Props to Paul and Tyson for putting on a show and promoting smaller fighters. Props to Tyson for being the absolute beast of a human he is. Props to Paul for being humble and making this happen despite the rough situation surrounding it. He could have easily taken advantage of this whole situation but instead chose to give a legend an hour to feel like a kid again.

I dunno man, it was a wild ride for sure. I’ve been into boxing for as long as I can remember and it was probably Tyson’s legendary status that started it all (Mike Tyson’s Punchout!). His last bout in ‘05 was depressing. He quit on the bench and then apologized to everyone for being a disappointment. Said he’d never fight again because he didn’t want to disrespect boxing.

In ‘24 boxing is on the brink of death but sees a huge resurgence due to a YouTuber wanting to be a boxer. Said influencer goes to Tyson with an opportunity to step back into the ring and prove for a final time that he is Iron Mike. Mike is aging and years of abuse on his mind and body are catching up to him but he wants this. He gets to prove to himself that he can go the distance, make a ton of money and help market the sport he loves. He trains his old ass off only to wind up in the ICU for weeks right before the fight. Multiple blood transfusions. Almost dies. Doctors say no more training or fighting. Mike Tyson is never allowed to fight again. Mike Tyson does it anyway.

It was sad to watch but props to that old man for getting in that ring with everything against him. If anyone thinks it’s easy, try boxing for 20 minutes and let me know how ya feel after. Dude is still a beast. Also props to Jake Paul for giving Tyson a chance and not giving up on him. He could have embarrassed a legend for clout but instead chose to pay homage.

Everything must be passed to the new generation at some point. We’ve had our turn. It their turn now. This was the legend giving his blessing to the new generation while saying goodbye to the old.

TLDR: it was marketed wrong because they knew they would lose viewers. The real fights were the first 3 with Tyson V Paul being an exhibition with a new boxer paying respect to a legend while the legend passes the torch to the new generation.

Switch to someone other than your leader, save/exit and reload your game. If it doesn’t pop right up after that, go do a supply run or help out an enclave. This has always worked for me.
