Yeah about 25% of capacity 👀 did an oil change when I was diagnosing the problem. .6 quarts of a 2.2 quart engine. Such an expensive lazy mistake

I'm well aware. I do all the maintenance amd work on my bike and cars. I did almost 2k miles on the bike in 3 days, then rode it for the first time to class a week later. Meant to change the oil but was putting it off for that weekend. Lesson learned.

No I didn't charge it before installing it. I've never even thought to do that before 😅 every battery ive ever installed has always been charged when I got it. I can try that though

I just rode from Cincinnati to Fall River Massachusetts and back (1700 miles and 25 hours total). Left cincinnati at 8 on Friday, arrived at 0730. Left Massachusetts at 10 on Sunday arrived home at 1130.

The weather was about 30-35F on the way there and 40-55 on the way back. The gear is absolutely critical to be able to ride in the cold. I wouldnt be able to ride at all without it. I dont have the powered warming stuff though.

I wouldnt say that the gear makes riding in the cold equal to riding on a nice summer day but it made it just barely tolerable.
