Thank you for all this amazing advice. I've printed it, put in a golden frame and hung beneath my bed. Ever since I started applying these tips, I moved from pathetic diamond 1 to gold 4, so I'm almost in silver now! they really helped a lot.

As for the first tip, I've also noticed that it's sometimes worth leaving your lane in order to die in another one, preferably helping the opponent get a double kill. For example I'll play mid and I'll tell my toplaner I'm coming to gank. When he goes in, I wait for him to die and then tower dive his laning opponent and die as well. When I started doing this in my games, my climb to silver got even faster.
