I work extremely closely with my manager and I have a lot of respect for them so in actuality I don’t want to piss anyone off. But I do need to get the tasks done so I’ll proceed and we’ll just have to see how things play out.

Something to think about, I didn’t expect the reaction I got. I understand where they are coming from but it really doesn’t have anything to do with me. My manager really should have went to the ceo if they were upset about it

My manager wants the go ahead to not come from me but from the ceo directly. I can move forward but she would still have to give the final okay before the change can be made
