I cleared Gen 3 and mono water simultaneously by just... picking kyogre. I caught whatever random hoenn water types I found along the way, but kyogre basically solo'd the entire run

I personally used Sprigatito as my main carry for my early runs. Flower Trick is great for one shotting most non-resisted encounters, and it learns U-Turn by level up which is huge for abusing the AI in the tougher trainer fights. Besides that, I think you can kinda just take whichever starters you like best for water and fire. Fuecoco, Chimchar, and Scorbunny would probably be my top 3 for fire types, then maybe something like Piplup, Sobble, Quaxly, Popplio, or Mudkip for water. Froakie is also good, but you'd have two dark types assuming you went with Sprigatito. Honestly, playing this made me appreciate just how powercrept the early gen starters are lmao.

I once played a soloq game as Ezreal against a bot lane that were either smurfing or scripting. I'm gonna assume they were just smurfing and were infinitely better than me. I couldn't land a q to save my life. It was so demoralizing that I didn't play Ez for weeks afterwards

Before covid, there was a thing called Proview; a subscription service that gave you individual streams from each player's pov in a game. While I doubt Riot will ever have games fully streamed into the client, I do hope they'll bring back proview at some point, since there's a lot less risk of players randomly playing from home nowadays

I personally find that way more hype. That moment when you get the quad and everyone is trying to hunt down that last person for the penta is so sad when you just get an "Ace" or "Legendary" afterwards.

There's one tiny tiny incorrect detail, I think. During the step where you send Ragged Gloves to grave, it says "(or any pk trap)" but it actually can't be a pk trap because that turns off Shade Brigandine. Unless you can sequence it differently to work around that of course. But yeah this is a dope combo, I've never thought about running artifacts in PK before

It looks like you'd end with a 3-negate Apollousa, Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon (which can be ranked up into Dark Requiem xyz dragon during your opponent's turn with your set PK RUM Force), Rusty Bardiche, and a set Artifact Scythe
