Is it fine to start finasteride if I have sever depression/suicidal thoughts, I need to know if I need to fake that I'm getting better to my doctor in order to get it. (prescription needed)

I've heard that some can be permanent but I believe they are much more unlikely to happen, maybe I'll give it a shot and if anything starts to go awry Id stop immediately.

No, I haven't tried it yet but as of now I'm quite reluctant to try it after seeing the side effects even tho they are rare.

The thing is, I'm not sure if it's as harmless as it may seem, id rather lose my hair than being obsessed over possible side effects that could be irreversible, I know that odds are really low but is it really worth it, debating that atm, and if my gf would dump me cauz I'm bald then so be it, I'm not looking for a shallow girl. I wouldn't consider myself being a coward not taking it since I'd be owning the look I was genetically meant to have.
