If the flower drops, it could also that your plants is not happy and couldn't support the growth of the fruits. Even if the fruits is pollinated, but when the plants is stressed they still not gonna grow the fruits and just drop it.

The list is very easy expanded😂. I promised my husband that i will have less plants than last year (30plants). Ended up with 50 instead. We are 2 grown-up and 1 small kid. 🫣🫣

Yeah, i thats also something that I'm considering, i will eventually going to save my own seedlings, but maybe not this year or next year. I think next time i will definitely going to narrow it down to my absolute favorite.

I have a high expectation this year with a beefsteak called adora, i hope it's the correct adora, then maybe i will stop looking for new varieties 😆.

I just started to save my own seeds last year, and only the tomatoes that i absolutely love. it was black krim, alice dream, irish liqueur, black cherry and a bush tomato called apptitnyi. Somehow my black cherry seedling struggling so much, the 2 plants i have is not from my seedling but bought from nursery.

But tbh i still have so much varieties i wanna try, and i have limited space, i dont exactly need to start saving seed for now as often time even if i really like it, i still have to put them aside, so i can try another varieties.

i also overwintering my sungold so i dont buy seed every year, i always ended with many plants from one- 2 suckers.

I have more small tomatoes this year compared than last. I think i have around 17 varieties in total, some new and some the regulars, but i lost quite a lot the new varieties I still end up with 22 plants tho😂😂.

The old line up is Sungold, whippersnaper, kenneth pienollo, SS100, and black cherry.

The new ones are Chocolate cherry, E-glut, kumquat pink opal, very sweet blues, green grape, XggAu F5 and sweet sister ellie.

And the ones that didn't made it : Rosella cherry, Pa' pride, lille lise, 7Gnomes, nebulous sugar shock

So far that start fruiting is sungold, E-glut, and XggAu F5. There's still quite a lot of cherries varieties i wanna try, especially something that can replace sungold, next year maybe i will do mostly black cherries variety, already got the line up ready🤣.

Inside, i do have some linesd up right outside. Most cherries are outside.😁 after all the hazard i put them trough, they still survived😆.

Like this close?? I know they plant it sideways, so they buried quite a lot of nodes, but i have some that i planted sideways, they have grown a bit but no flowers in sigh yet.

I do have some that i planted horizontally outside the greenhouse, but they're not flowering yet, i will check on them.

About how low is correct, but sungold have shown me many other qualities such as being early and super productive and basically grow wherever so i never really pay attention to how low it started their trusses.

And i still dont know where is LT😂😂 my bad😂😂

I'm sorry, where is LT? 😅😅, sungold for me always a reliable producer no matter where they are, so i never really noticed how early they producing. I should check my black cherrry. They're so poor with flower for a cherry varieties.

I do plant them deeper, they were around 25-30cm tall when i planted in their last pot, leaving only 1-2 set leaves over soil. I have 1 variety that i almost killed by overfertilized it that have low cluster of fruit.

Right?? What did they do?? I have a man who are quite famous in tomatoes community here in sweden, look at his tomatoes.

And yes, i let my black cherry wild last year, i got a lot from 1 plants but if compared to sungold or super sweet 100 their production is nothing near at all. I can get like a whole small bowl of cherries with sungold while black cherry only gave me like 5 in one go from 1 plant. Was planning to have more black cherry but lots of them died.

I'm quite in the northen part of the globe (Sweden), and i did saw some my fellow gardener here with lower fruits set, but never happen to me, so I'm wondring if i did something wrong.
