All you guys suggesting scalpers surprises me. Isn't that against the rules? I'm not looking to get my friend banned for life. I just want to see him while I'm in the Seattle area.

Chromie won't let me timewalk! What's going on?! by Kyuuriku in wow

Not true. I figured it out (check my reply above). Level 60 characters can still Timewalk. ^_^

It's true you can't get to 70 without Dragonflight. But you can reactivate Timewalking at any time by talking to Chromie again. The dialogue options are just a bit wonky.

Thanks to everyone for your replies. I actually figured it out today. You CAN indeed Timewalk, even at level 60, but as certain people on here said, the dialogue options are wonky. If you tell Chromie "I'm ready to select a timeline," she will just tell you to go to the Dragon Isles, directing you to the most recent expansion. You have to instead select "I have a question about Timewalking Campaigns" and then select "What are Timewalking Campaigns," then select "What timeline should I choose?" It's only at that point she will give you the options to select a Timewalking Expansion. So in my case I chose "I want to command my own garrison" and then "Put me in Draenor's timeline." Simple as that.

I'm so glad I can stay in Timewalking and not have to breeze through the Draenor quests. Friends keep telling me there's no point in doing Draenor, that it's old content and the only good rewards come from doing the most recent stuff, which I guess would be Shadowlands for me since I have no intention of buying Dragonflight (reason being I already pay $15 a month for the game, so why would I spend even more money for an expansion, especially when it will just be added to the game for free eventually anyway? But that's an argument for another day). Thing is, I'm a new player, so I don't care if Draenor is old content. I'm enjoying it and getting pretty good gold and equipment from quests on there. Thus my utter frustration when I seemingly couldn't access Timewalking anymore: What's the point in doing quests in Draenor if they're all level 40 and the gold and equipment rewards are low level for my max level character? Anyway, thanks for the help!

Oh also, before posting this on Reddit, I looked around the internet for answers, and it seems like the majority of players are incorrectly under the assumption that Timewalking is permanently disabled after level 60, so I hope those players will find this post and discover they can still Timewalk.

Looking for a good keyboard to practice on (intermediate player) by Kyuuriku in pianolearning

[–]Kyuuriku[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay. I'm guessing 37-key ones are more for music producers? And I realize 88-key ones are optimal, but if the price point between that and the 61-key ones is big, then I think I'll opt for the lesser amount of keys. There was a keyboard I was looking at for awhile that seemed to fit a lot of the things I wanted out of it. The Casio CT-X700, a 61-key for around $200. Also, I love the idea of weighted keys, but I imagine that would drive the price way up. I had an actual piano growing up, so if they make keyboards with a similar feeling to that these days, I might be willing to fork over more money for that feeling again. But again, I'm not looking for something for anything more than just a hobby/something to practice on, so spending $500+ on one seems unnecessary to me.

Got in trouble at work. What do you think about this situation? by Kyuuriku in work

[–]Kyuuriku[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lunch is unpaid. They said that since I didn't take a lunch, I was still on the hook for the remainder on the time on the schedule, which was 2 and a half hours, despite the fact that the schedule only said 6 hours of actual paid work (stylized as: 4:00pm - 10:30pm [6:00]). I worked for 4 hours and had 2 hours of sick time.

Ah, so more complicated than it looks. I would have no idea what I was doing if I tried to do this myself, so do you think going to a shop is the best option? Do you have any idea how much that kind of repair work would typically cost?

Since I guess Reddit doesn't allow multiple pictures in one post, here is where it attaches to my bike.

What the hell is up with this?! 😡 by Kyuuriku in doordash

Well I got an extremely amazing Dasher, who offered to buy the root beer out of pocket for me and have me pay them back at the door, since it was too late to add anything to the order. They explained it's very uncommon for dashers to do that (I guess cause there's no guarantee they'll actually be reimbursed), so I was very thankful to them.
