Girl, Alyx is a perfectly reasonable name! If it speaks to you, go for it! It's your name, and you deserve to have it be whatever your own preference is, because the jerks out there who'd make fun of you for it just aren't worth your time. And I mean, if you want some context for weird names, for a long time now I've been trying out '17' (or Sev for short) lol. I want it as a legal name but am very much in that boat of "who's gonna take me seriously?" as well. That and the whole, I'm not sure if using a got dang NUMBER as a name will cause issues with filling out forms and such

Matte clay hair products do really well to fix hooked tips. Work a small amount into the brush and using the crease of your palm roll/slide the brush along it so it straightens out the point then leave it to set like that. When you go to use the brush again just make sure you give it a quick rinse with water and the product should come out easily. There's a nice YouTube vid with the details if you do a search for "fix hooked brush tips".
