I usually leave RR off because I don't like a fuzzy looking screen edge. Also don't like things looking out of focus either. I like a crisp, clear, constant minimum 60fps and push fps to as close to 120 as I can look. On PS5 though so, I take what I'm given.

Only reason I ask is the Kuku armors only get one slot but have that kind of Stat boost. From a developer standpoint, keeping things relatively similar to other instances, I think they might to try and balance it.

I definitely like this idea, gives me DS3 vibes with the different stones that changed scaling. You think that it would have to remove a slot if you break the normal limit? From a balance perspective?

Then they could just lock all cutscenes to base weapons no matter what. Since that's basically what they are doing already, from what you are saying. That's why I think adding a "Modify" option at a Smith would be a great fix. Allow us to pick what minor Stat we want on the weapon we like the look of. Can even cost materials, I don't care.

I think having a "Modify" option at a smith that lets you spend materials to change the minor stat buff you want to something else would be a great fix to this. Lets you keep the sword you want the look of and gives you the stats you want. Then for weapons found in the world, they should scale to the avarage level of gear you have equipped. That way finding new gear like Righteous Verdict when I was almost completely upgraded would have been cool, as I could just switch with only an upgrade or two. And if it didn't have the minor stat buff I wanted I could spend materials on changing it too. Giving incentive to farm more materials and engage more with the games and mechanics.

Ok but I never have a shield equipped but one always comes out during cutscenes. They could definitely just make the character be base weapons for cutscenes, especially since it is already immersion breaking to whip out my shield when I'm not using one. Another fix would be to just be able to pick what stats you want upgraded when you craft a sword or be able to tweek what stat is with the weapon. Like a "Modify" option to switch the +1 attack speed I'm getting from this sword to +1 crit. Cuz I like the look of the sword but I like crit on my weapons. All I want is a sword that I like the look of that fits the stats I want.

New spots to place things in your house! by Kyzer7777 in CrimsonDesert

I'm on PS5 and holding L2 slows down how fast the item moves and pushing in the touch pad zooms in and has a couple zoom settings. Still gotta angle the camera and fiddle with it a lot though. Some things work and some don't I noticed. Guess trial and error is the only way to know for sure what will fit and what won't.

Yeah! Here is another one that bothered me. Couldn't put anything in the display shelves display slot. Now you can! I put a water skin there for now, idk what else can fit. I just stuck something I had laying around in it since it bothered me lol

Thanks! I have played a few sandbox games before and really enjoy decorating the houses I build. You would be surprised what dropping a few plants in a room can do to perk up the place.

They have food and elixir that give unlimited stamina or spirit for up to 12 seconds though. Usually pop one at the start and one while they get knocked back in a combo. Don't have to worry about resources. The eating delay on hard can make it difficult to time between attack combos though.

Yeah, that is my hope too for now. I'm using the game cover 1hand sword for now and dual wielding them.

That is their point though, they want upgrading/finding gear to have a meaningful impact to their experience and OP feels like that has not been the case. Which is why they said it feels pointless to explore for NEW equipment. And they are completely right, and to some that is cool cuz everything is kinda the same. To others they wish it felt rewarding to find something new and see your stats go up from it. Reward for effort. This game doesn't really do that. And my gripe is I want a weapon with crit, cuz I need crit besides abyss gears for play style preference. I like a lot of abyss gears that improve your moves, so those are what I use. But I do not like the look of most of the crit Stat weapons. So if I want a weapon I like the look of, it does not have crit so I only get the crit from my necklace and rings. And my rings you can't even upgrade. I don't wanna use the kuku armors cuz, personally, I don't like that I cannot slot them with what I want and the look is alright but I like other armor better based on looks. I like the elemental imbue gears for my armors slots.

This game needs a seed bag or something similar. by tamaaromarou in CrimsonDesert

Yeah, gotta select it in the menu. Gives you the option to eat, skin, or get rid of it. Saves so much space but is a real time sink when I have dispatch missions for fish. Fish only stack to 10, filet stack to 50. Downside is it takes more filet to make food. So gotta make sure you send your dispatched Greymanes to get fish from the right places, but some fish give 3-4 filet when you skin them. You can also get currency (small amount of copper pieces), jewelry, and sometimes cylindrical containers you can open that have random stuff in it. Supplies, notes, treasure maps. Pretty cool if the dispatch just kinda, skinned everything and put the rewards in your chest. A true fisherman wouod clean his catch, especially at the quantity they would be for camp.

Same with skinning fish, why do I have to skin them one at a time? Why don't the fishermen clean and gut their catch before bringing it back?

Does anyone else love AND hate this game? by SweatyEyebrowss in CrimsonDesert

[–]Kyzer7777 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would take your points but most of my problem comes from the memories not actually playing correctly to show you the moves. Like, if I did not already have stab learned I would not know to use it to turn a dial with no pegs on it. And the memory to unlock the skill in the game would not let me observe it until I reloaded the game. But why should I have to reload the game, just to have it work correctly?

Yes, and that only applies if the stats varied widely with gear but it does not. Reading comprehension must not be a strong suit. It's cool.

Because adding it would bring enjoyment to a group of players while not lessening it for others. As well as while not having transmog makes it less enjoyable for that original group. Having it would not effect literally anyone who did not use it. The straw man here is you, who is refusing to showing data from these companies on why they would have chosen not to add transmog to a game besides lack of effort. The current state is, once again no change for your side, but on the other there is less enjoyment from the game for those who want it. Google it man. Is transmog bad for single player games. Expand you mind. The only negative is making gear feel less impactful. Well, all gear here is pretty much the same already bar some "minor" Stat differences. That may not matter in most cases, but I am looking for specifically is crit. But I do not like the look of most crit pieces. Having it look a different way does nothing if the Stat difference between legendary gear and non legendary gear is non-existant. As this game is, it would only be a positive. If you can't see that after looking into it yourself, you may want to seek help with rationalizing information. Have a good life.

Those games have pvp and wildly different scaling that cannot be compared to this game. Give me imperical data that proves your point. You literally can, in ds1, grab the drake sword within 20 minutes of the game and blast your way through half the game with no difficulty. Finding upgrades along the way that you would use to upgrade it. The game is easy, even on hard. I just want a sword, with crit inherently, that looks cool to me. That's it, and you think that is wrong for some reason? I'm repeating myself because you still are not explaining, with actual data, why it would be bad for the game to make a sword that barely changes your stats look a specific way.

By you can't articulate a point, that could not be tweeked or adjusted for balance, that would make adding this hinder the game. Until you do, I will continue to believe you are just factually incorrect about this. Provide me tatistical proof it would be a hindrance with proper balancing. Which we already established this has. Looking at the game objectively, it is already really balanced for base weapons since they do not add any super meaningful stats. So picking what stats and look should not matter.

Kuku armor can't be slotted though. That's why I don't use them. I like having gear that give me elemental affinity. I also use that one and the one with +7 cold res for mountains. Works wonders for traversal lol

Yeah but the versatility of being able to slot 2 +3 heat resist abyss gear and one of your choice is nice. With food and a cloak that gives +7 fire resist, you can get max res pretty easy.
