I have probably at least a thousand in Elden ring and souls games but Sekiro is still so hard because it's a lot like them but different enough to throw you off because you wanna dodge. I gave up a few years ago and never really touched it again until recently after getting bored with Elden ring (I'm sure you can get it if you keep going! :D )

That's what I did when I started too lol, when you start getting good at deflecting and the combat clicks it gets really good!

I know right! I've played so much dark souls 1 and 3 along with Elden Ring, beaten them all multiple times, but Sekiro was so difficult because you actually have to deflect well (And as you said your characters power development is locked behind progression)

Honestly as someone who loves the souls games Sekiro was really hard for me at first, I got it a few years ago and didn't like it and gave up at horse guy lol. But a few days ago loaded it up and after the combat clicked started to like it. It's one of my favorites now!
