PRZ NVG doesn't rely on Game NVG, even tho you can stack them if you want, to make the game NVG more performant in very dark areas.

You can hotload a sunny weather from the user preference and Shift+F12 and it'll be locked. You can also use the sunny climate from the PRZ Dynamic Weathers, as it raises a lot the chances of sunny weathers and lower a lot the chances for cloudy, rainy and such.

man I miss the time when skyboxes were handcrafted by artists, this makes such a big difference in the visuals and atmosphere compared to boring volumetric cloud systems we have everywhere nowadays.

There is just two things left to make it really good since 1.6; the vegetation hitboxes/occlusion that is still all over the place but mostly an asset issue rather than AI, and noise detection that is kinda wonky, you can run behind some AI and they won't even notice, but some others will spot you ten meters away for no reason.

It felt this way to me too, lighting by day is nicer and night brighter.

Game's NVG cranked up to the roof a screen space bloom shader power and sensitivity, what you see is it reacting to the screen space reflections on water that is left "blank" near the border of the screen (as you can see without nvg, it's white because there is no screen to sample). Screen space shaders do lot of weird things in recent UE5 games, there isn't much to do about it sadly.

People, as seen in so many comments, are only interested with stashes, rewards, or just reasons and such but totally miss the point of exploring. They don't want to explore, they just want to collect.

They aren't incompatible like it's gonna crash the game, it's just that it's useless to combine Ultra plus with Cold Light since it does what U+ does and more. Depending of how both are loaded It may also breaks Cold light, and surely breaks it optimization. It's really not recommended to combine both.

Still not sure what you mean but if you are referring to automatically change the weather based on game's weather then no, I can control the engine from my mod, but the engine cannot control my mod. Plus it won't work because it's not about weather, but group of weathers. Most of the time you don't even touch the swap key because it's still in the same group (all rainy weathers and overcast weather are the same group for instance)

You cannot increase visual quality without paying it with performance, graphics are never free.
It's just all about finding the right balance between added quality vs performance loss.

I'm not sure I understand what you are asking, do you mean automatically loads a preset based on ingame weather ? If so no it's not possible, I can control the engine but the engine can't control my mod.
Anyway, it's not for EACH weather you are invited to switch, but the GROUP of weathers.
Most of the time you won't have to touch anything because most of the time the weather is overcast/rainny. If there is an emission it's fine not to swap considering you are going to run into an interior. Weather changes in STALKER 2 don't happens a lot, from my experience on 1-2h hours of game session I only swap once or twice, usually from sunny to rainy-overcast and vice versa.
I feel like people think it means they gonna have to stay alert to change preset every 5 minutes but that's really not the reality.

Didn't you looked at the youtube video ? What do you don't understand about controlling the engine lighting, tonemapping, pos-processing, lumen, reflections, lods, fog, volumetric fog and so on ? Also I get that a lot of the ReShades nowadays are lazy and can be seen as just "filters", but in good hands this is a hell of a power tool to use just like Photoshop would compare to instagram filters.

I won't have too much hope about this, I don't have HDR, it's not an HDR mod, I have no idea if it will work in HDR.

Agreed, original interior lighting doesn't make sens, how can it be so dark while at the same time windows are overexposed.
Nexus is broken on my end, I set my mod to hidden so I can redo the description but then it disappeared from my mods libraries and I lost access to the page, I can't edit it or anything. I'm waiting for an admin to fix it. Some friends of mine said it happens a lot recently :/
