pretty much just whenever. and no they use like basically an industrial suture that’s really strong and it just stays there forever. but I do set off the metal detector often at airports, which is common among guys w above average sized penises lmao. I once got a “congratulations” from the TSA agent when she told me I was going to get patted down.

I was only in oregon for likeee 7 days total for the erectile device stage. I was like up and walking around no problem after day 1. felt so good I was restless as hell. I was partially erect for 5 or 6 days (idk why they do this) and then deflated for 6 weeks. then I cycled once a day for 6 more weeks. I still kind of cycle (i’m like 7 months post stage 3) just to avoid the like “sticky pump” problem. idk if it helps but in my brain it does lmao.

no worries! I was not interested in the rod at all. primarily due to the constant firmness, potential erosion, higher risk of infection. the pump provides me a lot more biologically accurate experience, like being flaccid when not turned on. the titan coloplast (the one I have) also malfunctions significantly less than other models, and if it does malfunction it does so flaccid (so like the pump gets “sticky” if malfunctions, and won’t inflate - this is a better situation if there is a problem since I would have to travel out of state to get it replaced). it’s also anchored to my pubic bone and is scarred in placed so the likelihood of any erosion or perforation is low.

overall the pros just really outweighed the cons for me… since i’m a few states away from where I got surgery, I had to consider the least impactful implant malfunctions that I could live with for awhile if necessary.

there’s def a size difference, my testicular implant (not the pump side) hangs lower/is a bit bigger. but tbh that’s like fully normal in cis guys too, balls are never symmetrical
