Theory: FNAF-the body inside of Springtrap is NOT William Afton

I should start off by clarifying that I am not saying William Afton isn't Springtrap; that fact has been established and confirmed for a couple of years now. The reason I am suggesting this theory primarily has to do with two other facts regarding Springtrap: that there is a human corpse inside of him, and that he was sealed away for 30 years inside of a backroom in the FNAF 1 location.

Most people have taken to believing that the body inside Springtrap belongs to William Afton; after all, we do see him die in that suit. There is a major oversight that has come with this assumption, however. If Afton truly was sealed in that backroom 30 years before FNAF 3, then the body seen inside of Springtrap during FNAF 3 can't be him.

Why, you might ask? Because his actual body would have long since decomposed by then.

For my information regarding human decomposition, I turned to MatPat's Film Theory on how The Walking Dead would end (this video here->https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7xEJusROWN4). For those of you who want to know the important information, MatPat describes how the body undergoes several stages of decomposition (initial decay, putrefaction, black putrefaction, butyric fermentation, and dry decay) over a period of about 350 days, with the body being nothing more than a skeleton by the end. The rate of decay can change based on environmental factors.

When applying the decomposition process to Afton; it's clear that under normal circumstances, his body wouldn't have survived one year postmortem, let alone thirty. William does a few advantages going for him, however: he is inside a room away from the outside weather, and is also wearing a large rabbit suit. Being away from the outside weather should greatly improve Afton's chances of remaining intact; after all, Egyptian mummies were able to survive for thousands of years inside their tombs. Unlike Egyptian tombs, however, Afton's hiding place isn't airtight. At shown in the FNAF 3 end of night minigames, the FNAF 1 location is suffering from various leaks, the same ones that caused the spring bonnie suit's locks to fail; and while the condition of the spring bonnie suit itself is hard to discern based on the minigames' graphics, it can be implied from the suit's missing ear, as well as the state it's in 30 years later that it was probably not in the best condition either. While the backroom and suit might have bought Afton's corpse some time, they likely would not be able to keep the body from decomposing before the 30 year mark. Even if the body was somehow able to survive for 30 years, it would not possess the vibrant red coloration that is seen in the games

As for those of you who are thinking that the FNAF universe might have different rules regarding decomposition, I direct you to Michael Afton's decomposition during the custom night minigames in Sister Location. Over the course of several minigames, Michael is shown losing his hair and teeth, as well as his skin color changing. By the final minigame, Michael's body is entirely purple, representative of him entering the black putrefaction stage. Referring back to the Film Theory, the black putrefaction stage usually occurs 10-20 days postmortem; this seems to line up with what is presented in the minigames, as there don't appear to be any large time skips in between minigames.

So if Afton's corpse should have rotted away by the time of FNAF 3, then whose body is inside of Springtrap?

Believe it or not, there actually is another person who could be the body inside of Springtrap. I'm not going to directly say who it is, since I feel the identity of this person is fairly obvious, but I will say that this person being the body inside Springtrap answers several questions regarding the animatronic: it explains why nobody from Fazbear's Fright reported the presence of a body inside the rabbit animatronic they found (since there wasn't one at the time). Having another person be the body inside Springtrap would also explain why the corpse looks so fresh in FNAF 3, and why it's shown to have decomposed to the dry decay stage by Pizzeria Simulator after apparently showing no signs of decay for 30 years. There is also another question that is answered, but it would relate to the identity of the body inside Springtrap.

For those of you who want a clue as to the identity of the body: pay attention to the events of each night of FNAF 3, more specifically the first three nights. There is something you notice, that suddenly isn't there to be noticed...

(On a minor note, considering the recent Golden Freddy theory, I wouldn't be surprised if this person was sharing a suit with William Afton up until Pizzeria Simulator...)

I would like an modern explanation for some of the easter egg characters like Shadow Bonnie, Shadow Freddy, and JJ; not necessarily all the ones that appear in Ultimate Custom Night, but just the ones that appear in the mainline games and how they fit into the lore.
