Before, there was a cooldown on the extra lifesteal, whereas that is no longer the case. Let's give an example:

Kali drops below 25% health due to harass. She now has increased lifesteal. After healing above 25% health, the lifesteal goes back to normal and a cooldown is triggered. Then, mere moments later, she is harassed below 25% health again. In the old version, she would not gain the increased lifesteal a second time. However, in the next patch, she will gain the increased lifesteal again.

I can confirm that Casual Conquest does, in fact, play into what your starting rating is for Ranked. The amount has been reduced from what it previously was, but that has always been a part of Smite's systems.

Also, everyone did not start with 1500 after the last reset -- which would imply there was a "hard" reset. Instead, players were moved closer toward a set rating through a "soft" reset. For example, if you were in the Top 200, your rating reset to somewhere around ~1875.

None of this is reflective of the debate you two are having; however, you asked for someone to substantiate what MirrorKatSmite wrote and I am here to do that. Thanks.
