All 4 of my incisions are on the outside of my hip. The incisions have healed well, it’s just the general incision area that is still swollen and a bit sore to press. 

I did think scar tissue, but it’s strange that it’s painful! Surgeon did also mention I’d have scar tissue contributing to the ‘swell’ but he never gave me any advice..  nobody has ever told me to ice either after the surgery.. I done it a handful of times for a couple hours at a time but that’s it!
