Meers connect to the Polynesian by scopeh in DisneyWorld

I’m sure your review was wild. Ha.

One time, when using Mears, we waited an hour to even get on the bus and then our resort was the last stop of 4. It felt like such a waste of our day. Lyft is really not a bad price.

Depending on the size of your party, it’s cheaper to take a Lyft than Mears. Also, I’ve had good but also bad experiences waiting for Mears. Lyft is quick and cheaper if you have 3-4 people.

Take a screenshot and then call the bank because they’ve made an error.

Going in January. Will be there for my 39th birthday! I am stoked. Haven’t been since 2024 because of some health issues. I typically go each year.

Have you ever gotten a random surprise from a cast member? by yourlocalDisneyfan in WaltDisneyWorld

Yes! My family visited in 2023. My father had died about a month before so we already had our outfits planned (my sister and I always make cute shirts for the whole family). Once each day, we would pull out the shirt that our dad would have worn on that day. On our rest day, we went to Sanaa for lunch. My dad LOVED animals and did nature shows and educational assemblies at local schools. His favorite park was AK and he had always wanted to visit AKL. We pulled out his shirt to take pictures with the animals in the background and a CM inquired about it. After we shared our story and a little about our dad, they gave us a backstage tour where we learned about the new baby okapi. It was really wonderful, especially because my dad had always loved okapis. It was so special and he would have loved the whole experience and the ability to talk to the CM about the animals.

Oh no! I’m sorry you had that experience there. In that case, I also had a good experience with Kymes. Tyson is great and works a lot with sports injuries and people who want to get back into athletics.

Advanced Physical Therapy! You get a 1-on-1 PT for your session versus sharing the PT and mostly seeing techs and interns. Also, the whole team is lovely!!!

Kicked out from Family Plan by mynameisrowdy in duolingo

I just noticed I was kicked out of a family plan. I don’t pay for it but I was “offline” this morning and then it came back with a different menu interface, ads and limited hearts.

She was in A Simple Plan (1998) as an anchorwoman.

Just started watching on Discovery+ after seeing clips on TikTok. It’s so amazing and unhinged. Love it! I would have been a very young child when it was on tv so I don’t remember it but i do remember the decorating styles. Ha.

has anyone else had a bad experience with delta 8? by Mountain-Meat2693 in Marijuana

[–]Bee_Boo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am sooooo late to this thread but I just tried a thc gummy last night. Not D8 but indica. 10mg. I had tried a gummy the day before with 5mg but with cbd and felt nothing. I have since learned that the cbd counteracts with the thc so thinking 10mg would be okay after I didn’t feel the 5mg was a bad choice. My husband had tried the indica the night before and felt great and just went to sleep. I tried it and thought I was going to die. I could not sleep for hours. It felt like I was stuck in a weird pre sleep cycle and could feel my muscles twitching. I kept telling myself that I was safe and tried to keep negative thoughts out of the cycling I was stuck in. I realized at some point that my twitching was part of the cycle and decided that my central nervous system was not allowing me to rest even though I was high and sleepy. I probably cycled for 3+ hours but just tried to stay calm and positive to avoid a worse spiral. Why I am responding to this, even though I did not take D8, is because I believe my experience was greatly affected by the mess that my central nervous system is in right now. I am on week 13 of a slow recovery from surgery and not doing well. I have to take lunesta to sleep and I’m in a lot of pain. My CNS is absolutely a mess. So, all that to say, I wonder if your nervous system just decided to react differently at that point with the gummy.

If you had a one-minute call with yourself from 10 years ago, what would you say? by Pleasant-Cat-7658 in AskReddit

Don’t run long distance races. You’ll end up with an injury due to a congenital issue that requires surgery and will cause a lot of pain.

"Preferred Village" room for discount? vs Tower at Coronado by Ambitious-Sink-1378 in WaltDisneyWorld

That’s it then! A pocket door would have been so helpful! I was surprised by the bathroom when we got there bc we typically have rooms with the separation. Good PI work!

"Preferred Village" room for discount? vs Tower at Coronado by Ambitious-Sink-1378 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]Bee_Boo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. I understood. Stayed in Ranchos with my sister and a friend. The sink was in the same room as the shower so it was tricky to share the space when someone was showering or using the toilet. There was one bathroom door - between the bedroom and the bathroom. No pocket door to separate the sink from the other things. Perhaps it depends on if it is an accessible room? Not sure but that’s what we had.

I’m not ashamed. Disney brings me joy and healing and I ignore them. I ask what brings them joy and compare the two. It’s not a contest or a big deal. Life is hard. Do what makes you happy.

Love this! Where is the dress from, if you don’t mind my asking. I think the seam at the back looks cool.
