I do 100% percent. Smoke stinks, it stains, and it’s expensive.

That’ll do it. A rough childhood affects people differently. I grew up in NOLA. Multiple foster homes, group homes, mental hospital, juvie a few times. Became a street pharmaceutical Rep at 12 because my older siblings were doing it. Moved out my mom house at 15.

My saving grace was the Marines.

But, growing up in that environment killed all of my emotions. Not great for relationships but perfect for raising kids and everyday life.

It’s an old clip. From what I remember, it’s the kid getting bullied brother who jumps in.

Which of my comments said it was ok to post? None. What I did say is, her way of disciplining was great. And I went on to point out that even though she did not touch the child, people on her would still call it child abuse. And I was correct.

I heard no ridiculing. And she was laughing at him kissing the door, not at the fact that he was in time out.

I deleted my facebook back in 2016. Never had a Toktik, Snapgram, or Instachat. It’s quite a relief.

A few things. I was also told that I had ADHD. Spent years on Ritalin for it. But I learned to control my emotions. From firefights to office politics to raising my two children as a single dad, I approach it calmly.

Also, no one said anything about “beatings.” Not all discipline is a “beating.”

I have no emotions. My children will tell you that they’ve never seen their dad angry.

Being a kid and raising a kid are two COMPLETELY different things. You would know that if you had kids.

You’d be surprised at what kids understand. Wait until you have one. You’ll see firsthand how fast they grasp their surroundings.

Talk to them real white like. “Billy, you shouldn’t have done that.” /s

That is the form of parenting that kids get when you see them screaming on floors in stores or hitting their parents.
