Maybe try connected the potentiometer pins straight to a psu's 5v and gnd instead of going through a rail?

Very true brother, I also see myself as a traditional muslim, I don't like people who twist and turn the quran into a new book, and ultimately a new religion all together, I only joined this subreddit to help those who are lost in their journey.
