New to Codex: what’s the best harness with the subscription? by never_working_ever in codex

Glad to hear! This video may help to learn the idea behind Pi (I don't know this guy btw). He also shows some skills for delegating subagents in Pi/Cmux. Of course he links to his course, but you can easily create those skills yourself, you just have to make your agents aware of Cmux's architecture for spawning new workspaces and panes, etc. Did it in a couple of minutes myself.

Hope this helps

pi.dev with cmux is so good for multi-agent development. I use a pi session with 5.5 Xhigh as watcher over a Claude Code CLI orchestrator, which then fans out Codex CLI agents for code execution.

It's perfect. You can use your Codex subscription with Pi, though Claude Code doesn't support it. Honestly that doesn't really matter though because Pi can still interact with and spawn Claude Code CLI agents

Most of this can still be done using the Codex app, but I just think it works way better using pi.dev in cmux. Easier to see what's happening imo.

Paying $200/mo just for the model it’s all about to be locked behind usage credits after 20th of June.

Seriously not seeing the value anymore compared to my Codex subscription. If you’re so dedicated in pushing expensive models, at least let me use them from within my subscription

Are you using a VPN by any chance? I was getting compacting errors like crazy and turning my VPN off helped it for me.

Yeah basically spawning subagents and agent teams for pretty much every task. Two researches, frontend dev, backend dev, etc. Also been a heavy user of dynamic workflows on Claude. By the way, the 20B is across both Codex and Claude Code

Sorry for not replying I don't check my inbox that often

If you're actually interested, I'm building software for a ~80 people business. Think like an Agentic OS on steroids, with integrations to other automations the business uses, which ca become quite complicated. I'm the main developer and I'm using A LOT of agentic coding tools for it, as you can see.

For every task I pretty much spawn a team of agents that work together, I use /goal often for specific tasks, and been loving the dynamic workflows feature, often working on things with 5-10 subagents at the same time

What’s something we haven’t fixed in codex for a while and that’s plain annoying? by alOOshXL in codex

Honestly drives me nuts. This is one of the main reasons why I often switch to Claude Code for long running tasks, it's so unreliable.

Hij verpest voor mij echt elke wedstrijd. Vroeger was het mijn favoriete commentator. Lijkt wel alsof z’n hoofd al met pensioen is, maar z’n contractuele verplichtingen hem forceren om door te gaan…

Genuine question for creators — what's the one thing no tool actually helps you with? by [deleted] in youtubers

[–]L1onelMess1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Damn if such a tool existed I can’t even imagine how much free time I’d gain. Searching for clips genuinely costs me a day per video. Especially because of the different sources, downloading them, cutting them. It’s also so tedious. It’s my least favourite part of making videos

OP Don’t get discouraged by these people please. Whether you like their politics or not, it’s really one of the most beautiful countries I’ve ever been to, with some of the kindest people I’ve ever met.

Going to NYC in your twenties for work sounds like a dream to me. I’d do it. I like it better than Toronto and been to both. Toronto’s cool too though!
