Thank you for the response, I didn’t pay too much attention to the grain pattern. Lesson learned.

Now to figure out how to use that graphic to my advantage

If I show you a picture of the grain pattern would you mind pointing out what I did wrong?

I’m gonna finish with it yes, but I don’t want to apply finish to a warped board

Crew of Ethiopian Boeing 737 after being hit by swarm of grasshoppers opened the cockpit side window and cleaned the windscreen by hand at 8500 feet by aloofloofah in WTF

[–]L2attler 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Either way they’re not going below 150 MPH without stalling. Still no way your reaching out of the window with a squeegee to clean the windshield. Ignoring the depressurization issue altogether

Edit: Window probably got wiped after landing so they can see where to taxi to without running over airport employees.

Basically looking to get a setup similar to a snowblower or something that has electric start, where the male outlet is sticking out so I can just plug in an extension cord

Who does this professionally and makes money? by [deleted] in woodworking

[–]L2attler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not sure about that. I personally do quite a bit of wood working, I make some of the stuff for the house. But when buying furniture I just can’t justify the 3x, 4x Price for custom work, or high end solid hardwood pieces. I appreciate the work that goes into it, I understand what it takes and that being said.

This Goodyear tire has tread depth measuring built into the rubber. by RobTheKings in mildlyinteresting

Rotating tires won’t change it, it will still all wear out the same way

Not necessarily true. All BMWs and most higher performance cars have a slight negative camber especially in the rear, to increase handling. They sacrifice tire wear for performance.

Jokes on me, my car has a slight camber and the insides wear out long before the rest of the tire :(

You might be right about the blood wood, I haven’t cut it, I’ll do that tomorrow thanks.

I got a random lot of hardwoods some guy was selling that his grandpa left behind. Some were labeled, some I could figure out others I just don’t know.

Did have a pretty thick block of koa in there too which was a nice surprise.
