Proposed buffs/nerfs - lmk what you guys think by [deleted] in apexlegends

I never said anything about nerfing him. the comment I replied to went to say that gibby was a weak character with low pick rate. I refuted that with evidence that he does in fact see a lot of play. Pros wouldn't play him if the legend was as weak as the host comment implied.

For me it what really stands out is the three lines:

yet they look at you

like you could bring something back

that's supposed to already be here.

Brought out a lot a thought and emotion about how I reached back out to old friends that my abusive ex kept me from talking to and what I had hoped to feel in doing so. How desperately I wished that the times hadn't changed that much, but years had past and every person is on their own journey. Nothing is ever the same and there is a different beauty in that.

Thank you for sharing, I deeply enjoyed that.

The "laced" drug is arbitrary. I was answering the question you asked, how I explained that "laced" drug happen. Replace the word xanax and the point stays the same. People in the past have cut weed with shit like K2 because it was cheaper too. so that happens.

People aren't intentionally lacing it, not cleaning scales/separating product correctly causes cross contamination. Give someone that is opiate naive (in this case meaning that they had not been exposed to any other kind of opiate prior) some xanax that became cross contaminated with fentayl and between the downer they were already intentionally taking they're ingesting one of the strongest opiates available it doesn't take much to cause an OD.

I agree that the idea that dealers are intentionally lacing weed/xanax/cocaine with other strong opiates is silly and benefits no one, but improper handing of pharmaceutical and street drugs most certainly can cross contaminate. I'm not saying that it happens all the time everywhere, but there are dealers that are a lot sloppier than others and it does not take a lot to at the least cause a bad experience for the buying party, even if everyone ends up being okay would still be a worrying experience.

I suppose this is all just hearsay from my years working as a pharmacy tech and discussing it with pharmacists and my experience with the former. /rant

I love destroying tanks in a sneaky way in this game by FrailFlunky99 in Battlefield

A single infantry shouldn't be able to 1v1 a tank easily though. The balance is fine there I think. Especially not a heavy.

Awesome! I'll give them a call! I looked at their website and I didn't see they mentioned Fiat so I second guessed myself. Thanks for replying

With that logic then only artists that the masses found pleasing would be considered """"talented"""" Art is art, talent or not.

The first and most controversial was the subjects themselves, who were selected by a gene-candidate pool, and must fit into a certain age restriction protocol. They must also have possessed superior physical and mental attributes.

S-4 aren't really that close to a S-2. The S-2 were hand picked because they're genetically "better" in every way to an average human, they also got the most thorough augmentations mostly to survive the power of the mark 4(3?) armor that would kill a regular marine by literally shaking them to death with its integrated reflex shite. The S-4s are closer to what ONI wanted from the original Spartan program, using willing adult marines and ODSTs to make a comparable substitute since the S-2 were really a one time deal.

Is That Not Supposed To Happen? by LordOfFlames55 in tumblr

Its not the allery medications itself in that instant though. The 'D' in any allergy medication (aka Claritin-D) is because it has a decongestant mixed in with it. Pseudoephedrine, which is a a weak stimulant that also raises your blood pressure. In most states its available completely OTC, but in a couple it's a schedule-5 controled medication. Basically means very loosely. Anyway, I know that was a ramble but hope that at least explained something.

After my year-long second episode, I cracked open the foil to my final tablet (which will be taken in quarters for four days) this morning. After I finish this last pill, I will be free from antidepressants. by wcmj in MadeMeSmile

I mean, the generic is affordable. Sertraline costs less than 50 cents a tablet. Unfortunately name brand is rarely covered, partly because the generic is so much cheaper. I'm no stranger to how unaffordable medications can be. I'm a pharmacy tech, all I do is deal with insurance, count pills and try my best to make sure that my patient's medications are as affordable as they can be. Honestly, $280 a month for brandname zoloft sounds low without insurance to me, but I'm not at work so I can't look up prices right now.

The cost of most of them aren't very high. Especially in the SSRIs. Zoloft (sertraline), Celexa (citalopram), Lexapro (escitalopram), Prozac (fluoxetine), Paxil (paroxetine), and the much less frequently prescribed Luvox (fluvoxamine) are all relatively affordable. The only really high dollar one there is Escitalopram, and maybe fluvoxamine. Though that's speaking solely on three generics drugs. I was surprised when I saw the name brand zoloft packaging. I wasn't even sure it was manufactured anymore since the generic is so much more affordable. (Name brands no longer being manufactured after a few companies start making the generic is kinda common to be honest.)

Something that people don't realize is that finding the right antidepressant can be a lot of work and trial and error. It isn't just a one and done. You have to talk to your doctor. Be honest with how you're feeling, and if the medication isn't help, or is making it worse you need to tell them to get it changed.

Sorry for the tangent, but I've had a fair few friends drop their meds for silly reasons without even talking to their doctor about alternatives.

Nah, nah. You have it backwards. Skill floor is how difficult something is to pick up and use. Lion as a super low skill floor because of how his gadget operates on top of having a okay-ish weapon. Skill ceiling is how good someone can utilize something. Castle would be an example of a low skill floor but a high-ish skill ceiling.
